“Dandy, I already told you that I’m not going to cut you out again,” she said, as she opened up her closet to start packing up her clothes, pulling her dresses off of hangers and sliding them into clothing bags. “You don’t have to worry about it. Though I should think I’ve proven that by talking to you, and practically living with you for these past few weeks,” she said. She paused in her packing up (what little of her apartment Dolph had left intact) and glanced over at him. “You know this isn’t going to get you out of carrying boxes,” she teased, a grin pulling at her lips.

“Lost me?” she repeated back to him her brows pinching together. Reaching up she pressed her fingers against the bridge of her nose. “I ... used to think you understood me better than anyone, you know that? I used to think if someone knew me, down to my soul it was you. But It is so obvious how wrong I was,” she said. Tears stung her eyes, and she didn’t bother to hold them in.

I get it, that you are only hurt because I’m asking for space so I can recover. And you just don’t get it. You just don’t seem to understand that I’m hurt. I’m sorry I’m not you. She stuck her bottom up out in a pout, and then she took it one step further. Looked up at him from under her baby blue eyes and hit him with the full pleading, puppy dog look. “Please Dandy. I just know that if we do it, you’ll like it too,” she promised. Reaching up she played with the ends of her hair, braided and slung over her shoulder. “We’ll have a lot of fun, you just have to trust me.”

He’s right, this isn’t the time or place, but she is tired. “It’s not like we’re in a crowd, Logan. We’re in private quarters,” she said. There is a gap between them, she knows this, even if she’s tried to ignore it and pretend it isn’t there, but this is more than that, even she can’t ignore that he is hiding something. “What’s going on, Logan? What are you keeping from me?”

brody had work to do outside of stars hollow; there wasn’t many exciting headlines in town. travelling was something he did frequently and he enjoyed it because he was able to get away from certain people. one of those people was logan huntzberger. the arrogant blonde with deep-pockets. his entire family was the bane his family’s existence. so when brody spotted him, he did his best to go unseen but then something in his overly-active mind made him walk right up to him. “we should talk. i have some things i wanna say. you can relay all back to your father.”  @annihilatcrs​

She rolled her warm brown eyes upwards before she hit him with her megawatt smile. “Well, I think it’s honestly very cute of me to use up my one weakness on you and not on chocolate or really cute puppies,” she paused for a moment looking him over, pursing her lips in thought. “I guess you’re kinda like a cute puppy though,” she said. It was the eyes. Very warm. Looked like he’d good at convincing you to do what he wanted if he just hit you with those puppy dog eyes. “So it’s not like I’m completely waisting my one weakness on a boy.”

“I don’t,” she’s quick to say, perhaps a bit too quick, too defensive. She’s never been very guarded, except when it comes to him. The past two years she’s been lying to Lorelai, and engaging in this affair and pretending it’s enough. The worst part is, she’s pretty sure he would leave Odette if she asked, just not sure enough. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
