☕ plotting

i do it but never stick with it! it sucks!! ive found that i work best when i have a general idea and just roll with it.

by “best,” however, i dont mean all that good. there are millions of continuity issues and parts that just dont make any sense in my drafts, bc when i try to put down an actual outline for a plot, i often veer away from it until the draft and the outline are two different projects

there are, most of the times, certain plot points i write down that i absolutely want to include. (theres also vague snippets of dialogue that i found funny/deep at the time but in retrospect are just not it)

i think the reason i can never plot accurately is because i never know what my wip is actually going to be—the curse in faking royalty only appeared in the 2nd draft, where i was like Oh and had an epiphany that wasnt actually an epiphany but probably just a manic episode

that said, i envy anyone who can plot a wip and stick to the original plot 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩
