I've been working on becoming a success at something, anything, for years, but I have a lot of anxiety and very little support. I always run into roadblocks or get discouraged. What can I do to see to it that I accomplish something?

Hello EG! I'm using the Hemiptarot by Ladybeadle Works for this question, and its card for you is The World upright.

This card depicts Magicicada septendecim, otherwise known as the pharaoh cicada or the 17-year locust, is the most well-known cicada in the United States and Canada for its lifecycle. It starts its life hatching from eggs laid in tree branches, falling to the ground, and burrowing into the dirt there. It lives almost its entire life unseen and unheard in its nymph stage underground, tunneling and feasting on tree roots for many years. Finally, in the spring of its seventeenth year, the nymph emerges, climbs up the trunks of the trees they fed on, and molts to take flight as a winged adult. This is when we get the loud, regular sounds of the cicada's choir.

Like the cicada, the World is about cycles and journeys coming to an end. It's about seeing what's been done so far and gearing up to start again. It's also about celebrating the end of something.

What I think is happening here is that you are focused on success in a way that's putting down what you've actually accomplished. I don't know you, of course, I'm basing this off of a single tarot card, but it seems like you already know what's wrong (lots of anxiety, little support) and have accepted that part. What the World is asking you is, from your current position, can you start a new journey (in some form) to address those in pursuit of your other goals? It is asking you about what can be done within your means to become your favorite version of you.
