What are Eirene's and Hypatia's opinions on Adelaide?

Probably hate him to death, but that would be too easy. It's maybe more complicated than just pure hate.

For Hypatia, it's probably mixed feelings. For one Adelaide is her greatest supporter and ally during her research on aurum secretum, when Hypatia was unaware of her brother's true intentions with her inventions and research. So, you can guess that she trusted him a lot, especially since the Campbell family is known to be really competitive, and Hypatia was never close with her older sister Eirene for that matter. I don't think we've gotten any information of them talking to each other yet. After Hypatia finds out Adelaide's true motives, you can already assume the immense betrayal and hurt from it. Because he was her supporter. He was someone she can consider as family, even though there was still a bit of distance between them. This was the first time someone in the family acknowledged her and it was all just snuffed out—an elaborate lie.

On the other hand, we have Eirene. I don't have her, so I can't base this off of extra info. However, I do know that she isn't close to her family either. She was forced to grow up early and she hated all of it, despite following the business minded approach her family were notorious for having. When word of her brother's shenanigans during the Expo came to her, I'd like to imagine that there is disgust. Not for Hypatia's behalf (that would come later), but moreso on him staining the Campbell name with him being a Sage of the Underground. Because while she doesn't usually care of the questionable things her family does, this one in particular struck a chord with her for some reason.

hi!! just a random q -- how do you imagine elsa and anna as benders? for sure elsa would be a waterbender but would you see anna as a firebender? i kinda do, but i can also see her as an airbender (to play tricks and all of course!). also, since elsa IS the fifth spirit, isn't she technically avatar?

Yes yes I think we can all agree that Elsa would be a waterbender. She has ice powers and all so she has no say in this--as to the avatar thing... Well F2 just kinda shoved that down our throats so technically speaking since she is the bridge between both worlds she could be the avatar. Bam. That's it. She learns earthbending from the rock giants (cause there are no badgermoles--and no Toph, #sad). She learns airbending from Gale even though she can't even see her (its a she, yes?). And she learns firebending from the lizard Bruni. Better masters she couldn't have had and now we can all realize that F2 may or may not be a straight up rip off of Avatar and I want a refund of the three tickets I paid for to go see it in theaters (Karen Style--I want to see your manager).

Anyways. Anna. People have pegged her as a firebender which... Yeah maybe? But since you mentioned airbending I think that's what I will personally stick to. Because now I cant unsee Anna doing the air ball trick thing that Aang invented, speeding up and down, back and forth laughing her ass off because she is unstoppable. And Elsa would be like *facepalm*: "Anna can you please focus???"

And also, because Anna has this inherent freedom that I think aribending requires (don't quote me tho), and she is playful as well. And sure she'd probably have a hard time developing the discipline (ie same as Korra), but I have no doubts she would accomplish that in no time, and Anna would be a great airbender.

I just started Perfect Harmony and I would love if you could elaborate more on Arthur and Ginny’s relationship? Could it really develop into something real? I need your thoughts :-)

Well, I am all wet-eyed that you came to me with your q, anon :D  First off, Perfect Harmony is a swell show - as I’m sure you know since you’re watching it now - to enjoy in its own right, even apart from ships. That’s not always the case (Lord knows I’ve watched tons of shows that were shit except for the shippiness) but with PH, I’ve honestly gotten so much enjoyment from watching (and re-watching) almost every episode. You have a lot of good coming, regardless of you ship ties.

- Below lies SPOILERS, so avoid like the plague if you are wanting to remain surprised - 

For Arthur and Ginny, there are quite a few mixed signals. NOT in terms of the characters themselves (it’s my personal belief that Arthur himself fell head over heels for Ginny upon the first second of meeting her - how else can you explain how often he bends over backwards just to make her happy, how frequently he swallows his pride (of which there is a great deal) to ensure that she’s smiling? For Ginny, I think it comes on more gradual. She’s had her heart broken before, but even beyond that she suffers from a deficit of confidence that she hides behind sunny smiles and bright-eyed optimism. Also, she’s probably never been attracted to someone like Arthur before (his age, his upscale background, his intellect, etc.) so I can imagine it’s a shock when she finally recognizes her feelings, implicitly anyway). 

But that’s the characters. That’s how the show presents them to us every week, and their arc (though staying ‘technically’ in the friend zone - *cue weeping*) is a beautiful, natural thing to watch. Their loyalty is tied to the other almost from the start, and it’s so nice every week to see that relationship deepen into something almost tangible. They’re very different people, but they clearly fill the other’s gaps (not THAT way, though we can hope...). The writers, on the other hand - well, let’s just say that they’ve expressed some surprising (all right let’s just say it: wrong) assumptions about these beloved characters. After the finale, one of the writers (I don’t remember his name) stated that Arthur sees Ginny as *cue vomiting* a daughter. I won’t repeat what I’ve said in other posts - you can scroll the PH feed for that - but it’s enough to say here that this assertion is not in any way represented in the show itself, and is incredibly infantilizing to Ginny’s character. Such is the typical way of age-gap relationships, unfortunately. 

I hope this doesn’t dissuade you from enjoying the show which, as I said, is truly a joy to watch. It hasn’t been picked up for a season 2, but that doesn’t mean it won’t. There’s only a handful of us on the Arthur-Ginny train, but there are two fics on AO3 that are absolutely gorgeous and explores the what-ifs and (fingers crossed) the maybe’s. Check them out and let me know what you think!

Well hi there, Q! I’d ask you about your wellbeing as well, but I do not care, indeed.

The biggest difference between us, me and you, Q, is your limited capability of understanding things. Your simple mind just can’t grasp the wonders of actually paying attention to humans.  Yes, humans will never understand what it is to be Q. That’s their problem. I can stand being around humans mainly because of Jean-Luc who is an admirable member of his species. And extremely charming and handsome, for that matter. You know, had it been someone else to represent his race, humanity might be long gone.

I’ve received multiple messages over time thanking me for doing the warnings. So yes, they are.

Noctis finding out he has to die and he just ends up negotiating with the gods to let him "haunt" Prompto/all three of the guys. So Prompto's doing something, maybe playing a game, or figuring out a good place to take a picture, and suddenly he hears Noctis give him advice. He looks around him, trying to find his friend, but Noctis laughs a bit and explains it. "I can't physically be here, but I can see what happens" (he'd be especially insistent if Prompto had had his kid(s), I bet.)

Alright not serious starting comment: Noctis thinks it’ll be so funny for him to go back and haunt the others, then when he does it he realises just how much they missed him and he’s glad he did it to be able to be there for them even a little.

Okay, now more serious.

The gods kind of owe Noctis for everything he did for them. Plus, I mean, Luna kind of has already been given a similar power to go back to the world of the living to communicate with the living. Sure, she did it to help guide Noctis towards his destiny but she was still able to do it. Just have the gods claim some BS about Noctis needing to guide the people in rebuilding and you have a valid reason to allow him to communicate. Even if in reality he’s using it more to just chat with his friends.

Prompto play-sulks when Noctis tells him he can’t be physically there. But really he’s so glad to be able to still talk to his friend. Also just the general reassurance that there is an afterlife and that Noctis is happy in it. Once the pain of the fact Noctis is still dead fades a bit Prompto starts joking around with the fact Noctis is just a voice, including jokes about what exactly Noctis can see (”Please don’t tell me you watch me when I pee ‘cause that’s a bit too weird man”) and jokes about how Noctis can’t actually do the things that requires a physical form to do (”Do you miss icecream? Because I would - or do you have like an all-you-can-eat icecream buffet in the afterlife?”). Sure, he’s sad he can’t touch his friend but it’s nice to still have in him a way.

Ignis I feel keeps trying to get Noctis to like actually guide him. And Noctis is just like “nooo Iggy, gossip with me” because while yeah he will help he doesn’t want that to be his only contact with his friends. 

Gladio is the one that actually gives Noctis good updates on what’s happening and keeps him up-to-date with gossip and stuff. Like sure Noctis can watch it but it’s nice to get it from one of his friends perspectives. Also more jokes about Noctis being non-corporeal.

(And, oh yeah, if Prompto had had or is pregnant with Nocti’s kid. Noctis would want to be able to communicate all that bit more. Even if he can’t actually help Prompto with raising their children he can at least wants to be able to support him by talking through decisions with him/being an ear Prompto can complain to)
