feel mega bad for whoever started toT at second anniversary-year three and became artem biased oh how the children should have been there when his first birthday card dropped i remember it like it was yesterday

when artem cried.. oh when he cried. when he couldn't even bring himself to even pretend to strangle rosa... the children never saw it in real time... with his event.. where rosa recreated a scene from his favorite movie, just for him.. they never experienced year 1 and 2 artem in all his glory without knowledge of the Future.. truly the horror of it all.

they never read por una cabeza and considered that the Mid Artem Card, not because of its character writing, but because of its underwhelming plot. when the Mid Artem Card was the one that offered character development from atmospherics, with artem fully respecting mc's choices and decisions, even if that meant rejecting him entirely...

i mean my vision of him was influenced by yours to some degree because holy shit, but he's a walking contradiction!! he's so grounded and not interested in complexity at all (apart from pvp strats), yet he's a star person!!! ethereal being!! yet so lowly physical, growing out of soil and yummy nutrients yesyes

he loves like he fights, laughing, going around it, hyping everyone up but himself. his body hurts most days but its okay, he's used to it. diabetes do be a bitch. he'd rather follow than lead because he does not like responsability, but once he's responsible for something he'll hate himself over the smallest mistake, even those that arent his fault.

he thrives under bright sunlight and dim silver starlight, because plant!!! and starchild!! he hears when the Universe sings! he hears black holes drumming onto spacetime and supernovas bursting into laughter! and sometimes he just lays in a patch of sunlight and soaks it up like a well-loved cat, even for a brief moment bc he's bad at staying still.

he's bad at hating too. he can't quite manage it. it takes a lot for him to feel genuine dislike for someone instead of just indifference or pity. he was not molded with the capacity to hate anyone but himself.

not to b rude or anything but ej literally doesnt have closure of gina breaking up with him which means that portwell isnt bones and they still have feelings for each other

this is.. just very odd. ej is in college and working four jobs, the least of his active concerns are the definitive break up between gina and him. the entire point of him saying that there are things he would have done differently was to emphasize / parallel ricky (the literal main character of hsmtmts,) not missing his chance to do things the right way. his way.

as far as pw not being bones, that’s just wrong? gina porter and ricky bowen are in love. their entire narrative frames so much of this final season because they were destined to come back to each other (i.e the hat, ricky saying “full stop” during love you forever, their animal shelter date where ricky sang the theme song of her favorite childhood show to her, just so she knew he would never make fun of her, etc etc) where does gina having unresolved feelings for elt*n play into any of that?

pw was and always will be a midgame ship! ej is in college and rina basically has their own personal love letter in season 4, so if you want to discourse about that, this isn’t the blog for you.
