Most people I know who voted yes voted because UKIP are going to win the next election and people who were paying attention recognised UKIP as fascists and wanted out. People voted no because they believed it was too uncertain to risk voting yes.
1. I love you so much for telling me, thank you, a lot i mean it! I was going through articles trying to see what the controversy was, why people were swinging one way or the other, what really set either vote apart. I couldn't find it, but maybe I wasn't looking hard enough
2. So basically people who voted no are basically content with life as is, and know that though there could be change, and it could be for the good, life isn't actually personally against them, so they don't want to risk their comfortable life to better everyones life, or live uneasily for a while. Basically they are just apathetic. They may or may not be educated, but they aren't actually willing to put in the effort to change things, but if the world changed for them and didn't bring the possibility of hardship, they'd be fine.

She obviously knew she made a mistake when she talked about Joe in interviews and she has never talked about another relationship in interviews again. She has never kept secret that she writes about relationships and we may know who the songs are about but she has never said.
