I've been tagged by cultureandseptember. Wow, I’ve never been tagged before! This is kind of exciting. I like it when people ask me things! Sorry I haven’t answered this earlier. Life's been busy.
Name one book/story that changed your life and why.
That's a tough one. I've read so many books....but I'd have to say Mick Harte Was Here by Barbara Park. I read this along time ago in fifth grade and I cannot really ever forget this book. It constantly made me cry. The reason why this book changed my life is that it made me realize that those we love can be taken away from us in a second. Really,it made me treasure my family and friends because I never know when I'll lose them. It makes me treasure every single precious second with them, the good and the bad.
What is your favorite subject in school? Why?
My favorite subject would have to be history. I know not many people like it and find it boring, but I've always found it interesting. History is taught so that we don't forget where we come from, what we did to get where we are, and the mistakes we made. History is both beautiful and tragic. Also Hetalia just made me even more obsessed about it.
Do you have a favorite object? Why is that your favorite object?
Hmmm...I've never really thought about it. I guess my favorite object is my pencil. That sounds weird and I know. It's just I've been using this pencil for years. Can't believe I've had it for so long. The reason why it's my favorite object is because I've aced many tests with it and it would be odd for me to not use it in school. Sorry it sounds so mundane but it's the closest to what I can think of. Plus I think saying my phone would be silly.
Do you ever dream about entering a show/book? What is the most common daydream?
Do I ever! I'm in love with that idea but at the same time I would be scared out of my pants. My most common daydream is meeting the characters of different shows or books. Really that's where a lot of my imagination stems from.
What is your theme song? Why?
That's tough. I've never really thought about it. I'd say it would be Shine On by Eric Bibb. The reason for it is that I have a dream for the future, more so I look forward to it, and that song incorporates just that. Plus I see that as fitting my day-to-day life in a way.
"Voici mon secret. Il est très simple: on ne voit bien qu'avec le cœur. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." or simply put in English: "Here is my secret. It is very simple: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." This is from Le Petit Prince or The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint Exupéry.
Number one fandom and how did you enter it.
That's so hard for me because I'm caught between two: Naruto and Hetalia! But I would have to say Naruto. It was basically the first manga/anime I obsessed about. I entered the fandom in fourth grade which was 2004, I think. I saw a kid in my class reading one of the volumes of the manga and at the time I thought it was the coolest and neatest thing ever( still is). I asked about it and thus was I drawn into it. I'm still hugely in love with it.
What do you want to do with your life? What are your goals?
Right now, I know I want to be a pharmacist. I don't know how that will turn out but I hope I'm happy with it. My goals are to go to many anime cons and travel around the world, especially to France, Italy, Germany and Japan. I also want to enjoy my life so that is definitely a goal.
What person has had the biggest positive impact on your life? Tell them thank you here.
I want to give a huge thank you to my dad. I honestly do not know where I'd be without you. You constantly worry and think about us and I cannot say in words how much I love you. Yes, you make me mad sometimes but it's because you care. I wish you had an easier life right now and I hope to change that for you in the future. Thank you so,so much for supporting me, loving me, and just every thing that you do.
