Why is liking someone new so scary?

Let's list some reasons this guy should fun away:

1. I live in my ex's house with him and his family. I don't share a room with him but his family is like the family I never had, plus I haven't found a roommate yet.

2. I have a bunch of self-harm scars on my body, cute, right?

3. I've had sex with one person all the way. For all I know I really suck at it.

4. I get so attached and clingy to people I care about and get jealous easily.

5. I'm finally on an anti-depressant but I feel like such a mess still, definitely way more confident in myself and happier than before, but like, I can't even drink when I'm on this stuff.

Also I haven't actually met him yet and he's coming over soon even though I'm sick and gross what is life guys help.
