I really recommend the Mob Psycho 100 anime. All things considered it stays loyal to the manga art style, and the animation quality is beautiful. The animators also experiment with unique animation styles sometimes, which is awesome to see

I personally recommend watching the sub instead of the dub, but it's up to your personal preference

Hello! Yes, I still like Atlas ASMR even though I haven't rewatched any of his videos lately.

I'm honestly not surprised there's no fandom for him, considering that, for example, for Jim ち ASMR who's much more prolific, more roleplay-ish (Atlas has more classic ASMR stuff) and I'd say more generally popular there's like five people here.

Feel free to send more asks about him, I'll do my best to answer comprehensively (though I might be slow as you've already seen...).

This is obviously a joke answer to a joke question, but on a slightly more serious note I know pretty much nothing about "russian bots" on the English speaking internet, but there definitely are real official jobs for curating kremlin-bots on the Ru-net from those randomly advertising contract military service to those writing concerned homophobic comments - I was going to say "on unrelated news" but honestly everywhere.

...what do you mean there's controversial listener discourse?

I'm probably going to answer this question way more seriously than it was supposed to be answered, so here we go:

usually in the asmr roleplays the listener character is in the right - especially when there's some kind of relationship conflict going on - because no one likes to be wrong (and most people like to be tearfully apologized to) - and in rare cases when they are, it is usually resolved peacefully without much consequences.

So when that's not the case a decent portion of listeners is often upset.

In another ASMR fandom I used to be in (which I'm not naming even though it's a secret from literally no one) there was two big instances of that happening:

I. In the first one it was an actually complicated situation in which both the listener and the speaker characters did some things that landed them in quite a predicament - the consequences were drastic and lasting. The listener character was blamed a lot in the text though and people were so vocally upset about it (mostly not here, but on other platforms that I'm not on) that the creator removed the whole storyline (about four videos at the time) from the channel.

II. The other case was very similar to the one we have on our hands now with Alex - the listener character repeatedly breached their partner's privacy and broke a previously set agreement, so their partner broke up with them. That time hell broke loose here on Tumblr because people were just arguing over and over if the listener's actions could be excused because they acted on insecurity/childhood trauma/whatever else and if that meant the character breaking up with them was the one in the wrong because of that.

So, I might be wrong about this Alex situation, but I accidentally (again, I'm not actively in the fandom) saw a few posts that reminded me very much of the Case II and considering the fact that ZSaku in the description of the video mentioned existing 'discourse' I presume it exists.

Yeah big - huge - same. It's literally "My man, I didn't do jackshit, what are you talking about?"

But I feel like this is a presentation/positioning problem, being "comfort" is way too generic of a concept and further clarification being needed - comfort what for? Comfort why? Comfort in what way? So if you know ahead if it's comfort for overworking or for not being productive enough you can decide if it fits your current situation.

Maybe I'm just spoiled by Reddit audio porn tagging but I prefer to know as much about an audio going in as possible and here it applies as well.
