It doesn’t get much better. I watched the finale with everyone else but I still haven’t seen why it’s “Season Gr8.”

I think it's because the showrunner changed :/

If a Companion is coming from Egypt then they definitely have to be Egyptian. But there is less pressure on fully fleshing out this Companion immediately. The other Companion should be up for debate, with fair polls of writer/gif maker/etc suggested face characters. And I know you have a deadline set for everything, but if shows can take hiatuses, this project can too if it's necessary.

You’re right, that episode isn’t even scheduled until 8x08. *deep sigh of relief* It’s been a long day and it isn’t even noon.

Have you/anyone got a catchphrase in mind for 12? "Marvelous," perhaps?

I haven't gotten any suggestions so far, but I like that one. So if no one has any objections/other ideas, we can proceed forth with 'marvelous.'

12 being distant: 'I don't ever want to get emotionally compromised ever' distant, 'sociopath' distant, or 'asshole' distant? -If you've got a good idea of what you want the Doctor's new personality to be like, think you could write a prose blurb about how you see him, and we can go from there?

I see Twelve as someone whose years have finally caught up with him. Despite his comparatively youthful appearance, he doesn’t have the childish factor that so defined his past two incarnations. 

He’s nearly reached his emotional tipping point, and he grows less and less forgiving of his enemies up until the finale, which is a ruthless climax for him as a character. Dangerously dark on occasion, he poses a risk to himself and his companions with his headstrong, generally compasion-less attitude. 

That being said, he isn’t all gloomy; in fact, because of his overall personality, the moments when he finds beauty in the universe are the ones that speak the most about the wonder that still define his character after a thousand years of traveling.

Also, for 12's personality....a few of the Doctor's consistent and core traits have been vanity and avoidance, so there's that...but should he be darker or lighter than the last 3 Doctors -in terms of how everything weighs on/affects him?

I’m personally in favor of a darker Doctor; I think that Eleven tried to cope with everything he’s had to go through by becoming more childish, and it didn’t really work for him, so I’d like to see a more serious incarnation (not one without humor, though!).

A program that was suggested to write [the scripts]? Could I also have the name of this program? I have to confess that I've never actually written a script before, so any help would be fantastic.

The program, Celtx (I'll try to find a link in a minute), was suggested by obligatorysomething, who said that it's free and much easier than trying to use Word. ^^
