If you’re wondering what to farm for Another Daze over on JP, it looks like any of the 8ap Hard Modes (so not challenge modes).
I’m doing 2-1 Hard myself-- getting myself some Bunny Paper and Bunny Cotton.

The Transfer Student Is a Returnee!
Single Effect: Damage Increase [10%]
MLB Effect: Damage Increase [15%]
TLDR: “The Transfer Student Is a Returnee” is enhancement fodder. This memoria is exclusive to the Another Daze gacha.
Review: If you managed to get enough copies to max awaken “The Transfer Student Is a Returnee” then it would count as free-to-play friendly but.. Since it’s not possible to max awaken once the gacha is over (and there is no real incentive to do so), this is ultimately enhancement fodder.
The unlimited, and much more free-to-play/newbie friendly memoria would be “Future Three-Star Chef,” which has the same exact effect.
Notably, even if you do have this memoria max awakened, it still awaits a future of enhancement fodder. Once you have a better Damage Up/Damage Increase memoria, such as “Ryouko and Sakuya: Moment of Perfection” (link to be added) or even the limited “Walking an Entwined Path” (link to be added) which came from the same event as “The Transfer Student Is a Returnee,” you can discard it.
At least Kazumi’s hairstyle in this is very cute.
Walking the Same Path
Obtainability: Limited to the “Another Daze” event.
Effect: Damage Up [30%] / HP Regen [5%]
Another Kazumi edit! It was too late when I realized I used the wrong language, so eh. Kazumi is so adorable!! I love her whole witch theme, even if I don’t entirely understand why the author chose it. She’s an innocent malice.
I was sad that I didn’t get Masara before the other event ended, but I saved up enough magia stones for a 10x fate weave and not only did I get Masara, but also one of the new girls!
Kaoru’s magical girl outfit is weird and ugly, but I’m still glad I got her. my only issue is..... if I don’t get Kazumi by the time this event ends, I WILL DIE! I NEED HER! SHE’S SO CUTE!
Magia Record Another Daze event, Kazumi Magica characters now available in game
I got Kaoru back ;_;
I’m really happy right now. I’m glad this wasn’t a Corb situation, lmao. Kaoru was a character I always regretted not rolling for when Another Daze was run on NA (I got her during Kazumi’s banner rerun), so I’m glad I got her here too.
A training event is coming up, so I’ll either use Kaoru for it or the level one Hinano you see all the way to the end that I saved specifically for training events (I’m learning!)
Walking an Entwined Path
Single Effect: Damage Increase [25%] & Regenerate HP [4%]
MLB Effect: Damage Increase [30%] & Regenerate HP [5%]
TLDR: “Walking an Entwined Path” is a very good memoria that qualifies as Whale-Tier. The Damage Increase is excellent and the HP Regen has its uses. If you were around to get it, you definitely want to equip it when possible. This memoria is exclusive to the event Another Daze upon completion of its story. This is event memoria and should be kept in the case of a rerun.
Review: This is an excellent memoria, essentially Whale Tier despite being a free reward from its respective event. First, an explanation of its two effects:
Damage Increase and Damage Up are essentially the same effect: they both increase the damage done on actual attacks, or they increase damage after taking into account your buffs and the enemy’s buffs. However they count separately for the game’s calculations, and that means they can stack together. This means that you could have 100% of each buff and not worry about hitting the cap. While they’re not as good as the effect Attack Up, they’re both very good and you’ll want to have them, as Attack Up can be easy to overcap on.
Regenerate HP will have the character regenerate a percentage of their HP for the number of listed turns. The regen will occur at the end of the turn (note: the end of the enemy’s turn). HP Regen can stack.
What makes this memoria so good is its high amount of Damage Increase. The HP Regen is okay-- it won’t be increasing your damage done or anything, but it can be nice for some fights, and can be helpful for Accomplishment events or the Hundred Calamities Challenges.
Pair this memoria with some Attack Up passives and you’ll have a powered-up unit on your hands. It should fit in virtually any situation.
This memoria, as mentioned above, is Whale Tier and is an excellent choice for Supports.
