Like This, For Now
Single Effect: Anti-Stun [100%] & Damage Increase [15%] & Regenerate HP [3%]
MLB Effect: Anti-Stun [100%] & Damage Increase [20%] & Regenerate HP [4%]
Effect Definitions:
Anti-Stun will prevent the equipped character from being hit by Stun. Stun is a Status Ailment that will cause the afflicted target to be unable to take any actions (attacks or skills) for the number of turns shown, and it will also make the target take 80% more damage from its weak element.
Damage Increase will increase the damage done by the equipped character’s attacks, and its effect takes place after the buffs and debuffs are calculated. Damage Increase and Damage Up are essentially the same effect, meaning you can have both side by side—however, notably Damage Increase does not have a 100% cap. Lastly, Damage Increase can be easier to find than Damage Up.
Regenerate HP will cause the equipped character to regenerate a percentage of their HP for the number of listed turns. The regen will occur at the end of the turn (note: the end of the enemy’s turn). Regenerate HP can stack.
TLDR: “Like This, For Now” is disappointing for a Limited memoria. It doesn’t offer much Damage Increase, especially when compared to free event rewards, and the Anti-Stun it offers is outclassed by an unlimited three-star memoria. It’s not bad by any means, but it’s just not amazing either. This memoria is exclusive to the “And From Here On” event gacha.
Review: This is a fairly decent memoria. “Like This, For Now” is average in that you can use it in a wide variety of situations with no issue. The 20% Damage Increase is on the low side, and the 15% Damage Increase for when it’s not max awakened is equivalent to several event reward memoria such as “Do Your Best, Little Savior” or “Visit of the Masked Student Council!”-- meaning that those event rewards are actually better to use if your “Like This, For Now” isn’t maxed.
In fact, if you want to understand how disappointing the 20% Damage Increase is, look at a free event reward memoria that most NA Refugees should have:
(Limited 4*) “Walking an Entwined Path” Damage Increase [30%] & Regenerate HP [5%]
That’s 30% Damage Increase. For a memoria that you got for free. Meanwhile, “Like This, For Now” is a limited memoria that is only 20% if you max awaken the thing. To say it’s disappointing is bit of an understatement.
What makes “Like This, For Now” acceptable is actually its Anti-Stun. Unlike a some comparative memoria such as “Feigning Innocence School Time,” you get 100% Anti-Stun regardless if it’s a single copy or a max awakened one. Stun is extremely obnoxious when it goes off and can potentially kill your characters, so you’ll definitely want to have a memoria that can negate it. However, there’s still a problem here-- there’s a much easier way to get Anti-Stun memoria in the game, and that would be found in the unlimited three-star memoria “A Rough Welcome in the Sewers.” Because guess what? This gives 100% Anti-Stun regardless of how awakened it is.
Perhaps in the day of old, when you could only have a max awakened “Walking an Entwined Path” if you spent actual money on it and when “Feigning Innocence School Time,” this memoria would have been better. It never would have been truly amazing, but it’d be an alternative to equipping “A Rough Welcome in the Sewers” where using it meant sacrificing a passive slot and missing out on extra damage-- but this aren’t those days anymore.
To be clear, this isn’t a memoria you should get rid of by any means. It’s not bad, it’s just very disappointing when you consider that it’s a limited. Don’t feel pressured to get this one, but you can equip it on your Supports if you feel so inclined. Besides, if you want to use a large team, more Anti-Stun memoria are better than one.
