Another Hope
I climb the hill and look upon this world It's unfair and impure, and I now know that I belong For when these people laugh and cry All the same my soul echoes along
Well covered is the yellow magic Can't let it get dirty again It doesn't matter; even out of sight The yellow light is still on in my soul In a world cursed by your absence I'll spread what's left of your memory Even if the legends and treasures we saw By now all lost their meaning
My hope is that at least in the end When it's all done and unmade I'll meet you again, my friend You who cruised through a million galaxies Light of all my fantasies Any tale of my life would pale next to yours But you would still listen to me, wouldn't you?
