I don't think I'll ever be able to voice how much I love this show. I'm currently on episode 6 on my third rewatch and I know for sure that it'll never bore me.

The songs are absolute bangers! I sneaked them into the playlist for my friend's get-together today and they loved the songs too! I still couldn't get them to watch the show but at least they're now interested. One step at a time!

The characters are just cute and quirky, I fell in love with them as soon as they appeared on screen and now I'll never let them go!

Julie is such an awesome girl with an amazing voice and just so adorable. You have to love her! And her friendship with Flynn is so pure and I love those girls so much.

And don't get me started on the guys. Alex is such a sweetheart, he's adorable and my favourite scene definitely is when he jumps on the stage to dance with Carrie. His smile and dance moves were so pure, you could tell he had so much fun on that stage. And they never made a secret that he's gay! He just is and his bandmates support him and the three of them just scream no toxic masculinity!

And Reggie is such a dork. I love his comments and weirdness. His comments always make me laugh even after my third rewatch or rather during my third rewatch 😂 His one-sided bromance with Julie's dad is awesome

Wanna know the best part? The outfits both Reggie and Luke wear are actually part of my wardrobe 😂 so that's just awesome! I love Julie's and Flynn's outfits, I love Alex's style and I definitely love Reggie's and Luke's style! Like c'mon that's just me. The 90's vibe is strong! I want all the clothes like right now.

And speaking of Puppy Eyes Luke. You gotta fall in love with him. I did and my best friend @joeysblog did too 😂 His smile is everything. And he has the best chemistry with Julie as well as the guys! I just can't even. I can't handle all the scenes with Luke coz he's smiling and being cute and awesome!

You'd think Julie and the Phantoms is just a fun show with great musical numbers. Something you could watch to have a good time with AWESOME songs (can't say that enough! Seriously listen to the songs!) but then Luke's story hits you hard in the feels! I start crying seeing Luke with his parents and then I cry even harder when he sings Unsaid Emily.

Unsaid Emily breaks me. Every time. Even listening to the song today when I made an apple pie I started crying as soon as the first note hit. Just hearing the melody in episode 6 breaks me when Luke blows out the candle on his birthday cake. I can't handle my emotions. Like I'm on that scene right now and I just can't.

So yeah I guess I kinda succeeded in voicing my opinion? There's still so much more I could say about how much I love the show.

Like Caleb being the most fabulous villain ever! His songs are like the most fun villain songs and I just have to get up to dance!

And skater boy Willie? He and Alex are so cute together! And they don't dance around their feelings.

I'm so glad @joeysblog forced me to watch the show 😂 and well as you can see I haven't stopped yet

And yeah I actually have to pause writing this post coz I'm too busy jammin' to the music. On full volume coz that's just how you do it 😂 good that I'm wearing headphones coz my family is already sleeping 😂😂

So please watch the show if u haven't already so that we get a second season! There are so many unanswered questions and the cliffhanger killed me. I NEED a second season with even greater music

So yeah I can only say how much I love the show so many times... Just watch it please

the way the universe was like screw me and my lil business this past week 😭😭 because why did the power go out in my workspace in 100 degree weather so I had to move it all inside the house. Then, the bank account I’ve had for years decided they were going to steal people’s money and not allow them to use it for almost two weeks so I couldn’t order supplies or postage. I’m losing my mind fr skdkdkd

Being able to identify when someone's language is upsetting to you is good. It's important to notice things like "When you say this I feel bad" but the appropriate response is not always "So you can't say that to me."

If it's like "you're a stupid idiot" of course you can ask someone not to say that to you. But if it's something objective like "This doesn't make sense to me," you can't realistically avoid that, and the reason you're feeling bad about hearing that is internal to your experience and therefore it is your responsibility.

Once you start asking people to change their phrasing for you, you start down the slippery slope that ends in no one ever wanting to say anything to you that might be misconstrued. I genuinely believe that when we find ourselves oversensitive to someone's wording that it is our responsibility to change the way we relate to language and not to change the way language is used around us.

Especially if this is happening between friends. You owe it to your friends to assume they are being kind to you. You need to be able to move through feeling hurt, examining the root of it, and making the necessary corrections to your interpretation of it.

I'm not saying it's easy, I'm not saying it's not work. But you can't expect your friends to pick from a menu of safe phrases. We have to meet in the middle.

Idk what it is??? But for some reason?? I've been feeling real shitty lately?? Like I honestly felt like I was doing so good for awhile and taking part in a lot of the things I loved doing and getting myself to a better place and now I feel like I'm falling back into depressive hell and idk wutdafuck to do bout it. Like it feels like going out with people, making art, finding music, reading books is not all that great to me and idk why? Also I feel like I don't fit in with the world I'm in sometimes which can be kinda alienating sometimes but it wouldn't bother me so much if others didn't think bad about isolation... Cuz honestly isolation doesn't scare me in small amounts but I feel like other people would flip if I stepped away from my social life a bit... Idk my life is messy and I'm too tired to clean it up . . .
