Describing Dark Dome games plots badly!

(Spoilers (because I felt an urge to include the warning))

The Girl In The Window: Guy gets trapped in a house and tried to escape only to turn out he isn't actually trapped, also he's dead.

Unwanted Experiment: Man gets kidnapped and put in a basement with a horned lizard hybrid. They escaped and got confronted by uglier version of Eye-Boy.

Nowhere House: Escape room challenge in 3 dimensions! Needing only a jewellery as your invitation!

Ghost Case: Detective gets harassed by ghosts and captured their killer using a doll.

Haunted Laia: Lady took 3 years to get out of room. She and her family needed to eat seeds to get out of a cave. Unfortunately, her family got catfished in the end.

Another Shadow: A couple got seperated because a child broke into someone's cabin.

Escape From The Shadows: This fandom's version of Avengers.

Beyond The Room: Begins with a guy chasing a ghost girl, works his way to enter her apartment and ended up serving a reptile witch.

Hidden Memories: Vampire wakes up with amnesia, only remembering a chick.

To this day I still fucking love the piano scene in Another Shadow. It's up there in my top 3 best moments of the entire series. The devs didn't have to do that scene because the prologue and the various pictures of Bastian and Carissa already told us that they're a married couple who loves each other but they freaking did it anyway and they did a wonderful job doing it.

Usually escape games like this show these types of scenes as a way to give us clues and hints for the next puzzle and move on. But in Another Shadow they reversed it so that we need to finish a puzzle before the scene would be played out to us. If you remove the entire sequence and just move on straight to the part where Lian arrives at the house, absolutely nothing would change.

They animated the whole thing just to deepen Bastian and Carissa's already wholesome and fleshed out relationship. Bastian played his part in their duet song to reassure her that he's ok down in Penumbra while Carissa played hers to tell him that she's not gonna leave until she finds a way to get him back. Just a very sweet moment in a very terrible and horrifying situation

Thinking about how in dark dome, if the game has a happy ending it will have an alternative ending where things could go wrong, but if the game has a sad ending then that's the only ending you are gonna get.

Im pretty bad at reviewing stuff but a good while ago I got obsessed with dark dome games and yesterday they launched a new one and I'm urging to talk about it

The story consists of 6 point and click games (for now) and follows different characters trying to solve the mysteries of a haunted town, they're pretty intuitive (and the hints are actually useful when you get stuck) and the games connect with each other nicely even when they narrate different stories (with the exception of unwanted experiment but I'm hoping it'll fit better in the future)

They don't really have an order but I'd suggest starting with Haunted laia and ending with another shadow

Is that? Laia? Oooh I love this game. I thought this is just one game but actually this game had a story part. I will play another games from the first story.
