It was a good thing I was enjoying a lot of long walks by the seashore this past week. Because apparently all of the little shows that were easy to sneak in on this family vacation decided to torture me.
Let's see...My Sweet Brother in Law had a stabbing that led to a show ending with my favorite character in a coma.
Moon and Dust decided to end with my precious imp being forced to leave his home planet.
And Sweetheart Service decided this was the week to cut the fluffy and bring up the inevitable angst of a contract relationship.
I managed to sneak in Reset by sitting in a corner while the extended family watched a Marvel movie. Wearing a hearing aid has its advantages. That show gave us some great kisses and memorable lines, but it also decided to end on the pain.
Really shows? What kind of games are we playing? I wanted to enjoy my vacation.
Luckily I was absolutely delighted once Thursday rolled around. All kinds of my favorite tropes were delivered between an ill advised but very pleasant binge watch of the six available episodes of Revenged Love (so much fun)...
and the final two episodes of Ball Boy Tactics (so much joy).
Can we talk about how they're whispering? And taking turns straddling each other? Or the wrist hold? or the scene where Jiwon announces the relationship to the friends while Jeongwu basks in the moment? or the friends themselves? So. much. joy. And that's before I turned into a puddle of goo in the library stacks.
That said - let's not discuss how I managed to pull those watches off 😅. It was very needed for my mental health though.
And now we're back...with so much left to catch up on but a work deadline looming. I predict I'll just stay behind in most shows for the next several weeks, and that there will be some that I just can't watch for now.
So much BL that I can't keep up?
What a time to be alive.
