Another Verse - Gouenji Shuuya
Description of the AU: An AU where guilds rule ruins, and every guild is judged by how many fellows are in it, how strong their army is. Guilds can either collide or disintegrate. Some of them wants peace, but some of them are dedicated to war. Using magic or human enchantment is possible, but these goods require someone to born with the capability to do magic, which can come with family genetics(common) or individual talent(very rare). They are able to turn people stronger.
People with human enchantment have special abilities, but not everyone’s body is capable to accept it, so it’s risky. If they can’t take it, they die. If they can, they become immortal, immune for diseases and can be killed only by magic and with a specific ritual. Some guilds accept it and say that it should be examined more, they encourage others to do experiments on people, especially on warriors, but not everyone is agreeing with it morally, which causes civil war inside the unions, guilds or even in families. And then, there are other actual wars between peaceful and aggressive guilds too. It’s chaotic.
Name, age of the character: Gouenji Shuuya, age 23.
Job, occupation: Leader of the Madforge guild/association’s army. Has incredible stealth and fighting skills. The n°1 warrior in the guild. Gouenji Katsuya’s son, who is the leader of the Madforge guild.
About the guild: peaceful, against human enchantment.
Reason: disagrees about human enchantment
Character description: Messy blonde hair laying on his shoulders (like in GO Galaxy) Has a bandaged wound on his left arm at his triceps, a dark red leather vest which has loose, torn dark gray textile material under it (it’s like a jumper). His trousers are also loose, dark grayish-brown and worn out material, black combat boots. He is under cover currently, that’s why in order to hide himself, he has a somewhat cape with a hoodie which is also dark gray and worn out.
Character’s personality description: He is loyal to his origins, and would never betray his guild. He isn’t used to show his emotions, but he is still sensitive inside. People who are important to him are his n°1 priority, especially his family. He is brave, self-confident, clever and able to make sacrifices. Even in stressful situations, he can keep himself cool in order to handle everything the best. However, he can panic if one of his loved ones are at a risk, meaning that his pressure/weak point is his family and friends.
Weapon description: Two wakizashi swords (ancient Japanese weapon) so dual sword ‘build’, (no shield) + a dagger for self-defense. All the three of them has dark red/crimson handle/grip and bright silvery metal blade.
The character’s story: His father is the leader of one of the most powerful guilds, and he himself was trained during his whole childhood to become a warrior. He is the leader of the army by the age of 21, but two years later, thanks to civil war about human enchantment he is desperately in need to escape. Many people want to kill him to take his place as a warrior, or people who rebel against him and his family. By his father’s order, to protect his sister, he escaped at the highest point of civil war, not even knowing if his other family members are still alive. He and his sister are hiding in other villages, building up a new identity. During their escape, their clothes got torn at some parts, getting some wounds but they are fine. Shuuya wants to protect his sister until civil war calms down, so he keeps hiding, but he is still working about getting the peace back from the background, with the help of some trusted best friends, Endou Mamoru and Kidou Yuuto.
I love how you’re gone for an EPIC AU like this ! That's’ so detailed, looks like you thought about it a lot eheh. And Gouenji is so badass here ! I tried my best for the wakizashis but I realised you described a red handle after I finished the colouring. Sorry about it... Also, I didn’t draw the cape because it felt like it would hide his outfit ? I hope it’s okay anyway hehe ! I loved drawing Gouenji with this outfit and imagining him in your universe. Thank you for this !
