          Bafflement filled her expression once the small creature spoke, brows pinched together as she took a step back in instinct. Moments of silence had passed before inhaling slowly and resumed to picklock the cage. “Lady Dimitrescu is going to feed you to her cat like it or not; you’re only in here because the cat already had a filling meal.” uttered the maid, raven hues connects with the mouse’s gaze. “ Everything has a right to live.. and that cat is rather fat, you’d be a snack rather than a meal to it.”
