Thank you thank you thank you!! This is such a sweet message. I've been in and out of therapy since I was 15 and I always find I feel a bit better when I have someone to talk through with. I'm slowly but surely getting back on track.

What is a discourse post? I genuinely dont know

Just like general fandom discussions. There's a lot of people in the x reader tags complaining about there being too much smut, or complaining about darkfics, or discussing fandom behaviour and its just really irritating to me.

Fanfic writers write as a hobby and I find people who post unrelated posts in the tags (a lot of these posts are complaints about the content in said fics) to be really rude. Also I'm trying to read my one piece x reader smut, not scroll past 10 people complaining there's no fluff while refusing to write it themselves. It's an instant block for me, even if I agree with the content of the post.

Basically, just tag things correctly. If it's not an x reader post, don't put it in the x reader tag.

I've been struggling with my mental health as of late. My 2026 has been terrible so far, and I've barely written any fanfic at all. I've got some done today, I have a small strawhat orgy oneshot to post soon, so hopefully, I'll be back on my bullshit soon enough.

this isn't a request but how do you motivate yourself to write without feeling bad or unmotivated

I don't. I've gone days and even weeks without posting. writing (especially fanfiction) is a hobby, not a job. if I'm not motivated to write then I don't. Don't force yourself to do something if you don't want to. I have a Robin fic that I've had in the works for weeks and I'm not even halfway through. I've had an original story with only half a chapter for literally 4/5 months.

However, when I'm struck with inspiration I usually put instrumental music (op soundtrack <3) set my bedroom lighting lower and get cozy. The music keeps me in a rhythm but doesn't distract me.

Hiiiiii, I just wanted to say that my Zoro brain-rot has returned and I think (know) it’s your fault (I’m not mad about it). I read one of your fics a couple days ago, and I’ve been stuck ever since. I’ve been going through your master list and realized I have been reading so much so fast that I’ve forgotten to comment on anything. I apologize for that. I try to make it a point to comment on the things I truly enjoy.
