oooh i had to really think about this one because i HAVE had this thought about someone but couldn't remember who. anyway this might be a random as fuck pull but. thomas from bbc ghosts. he's just painfully heterosexual to me im sorry. i think the main reason people hc him as queer is because he's a sensitive dandy poet type, which to me makes it funnier if hes completely straight. i think after cap comes out to them thomas has a crisis where he tries really hard to be bisexual to seem more tortured and make everyone feel bad for him but everyone just thinks hes being super weird and insensitive. to test him julien is like 'okay so make out with me' and they have whole argument about how that wouldnt be indicative since julien couldn't attract a kinsey 6. eventually they sit him down and go Thomas. its okay. you dont have to be bisexual. he cries for an hour

Grike is whistling as they finish doling out breakfast to the children, a plate with a thick slice of bread and a bowl of mixed fruit is waiting for Eden. They even had butter! Though goblin butter had a faint, gamey flavor, it was still butter.

Lylac upended their bowl and Grike went to clean up the mess without protest.

"Let me help, Da." Moss said in their small, hissing voice. The Kobold climbed down from their perch and started wiping at the mess.

"You're a good one." Grike patted Moss's head, waiting eagerly for Eden to awake.

Grike had made a point to slip out of bed before the Wizard. It was the first time in months they'd been allowed to sleep in.

Eden wasn't usually capable of sleeping in, night terrors and visions making their sleep restless and short. This time though, exhaustion had won. They slept several hours longer than they usually did, finally waking up in a panic. They had no time keeping device, or at least not one that worked anymore, but Grike wasn't beside them. They stumbled out of bed, barely managing to pull their glasses on. "Gr...ike?' they called out, their voice even more rough than usual, they were still groggy as they sought out their mate.

Thank you!! I really appreciate the sentiment! When I was younger I would have needed all these things (for hyperfocusing too much and forgetting to eat/drink), but these days I feel pretty balanced. Sadly though I am getting sick again, and my wife has a terrible cough, and we both work at a school with an ongoing whooping cough outbreak. So that's all fun. If I have to take the week off work, I might post another sneak peek this week.

The updates for my other mods are delayed for as long as I feel inspired to make actual art; I don't wanna waste the feeling on writing some CP code, y'know? But I'll get to them eventually.

What your favorite headcanon of Medusa

Apologies for the delayed response, oh man where to start

-Age HCs

•Ana/Lancer: 13

•Saberdusa: 18 (asc1 only), same as Rider for the other 2 ascensions

•Rider: 25-30

•Avenger: mid to late 40s (need more people need to see the vision on this tbh👀)

-She should have a more prominent nose, it looks really good on her so I stick to drawing her with one

-Medusa actually being tall is great so 5'11 Medusa and 7 ft Gorgon whenever she doesn't have a serpentine lower half are ideal

-she has eyebags as Avenger

-she's kinda chubby as Avenger 💥

- the blackened parts we see on Avenger's hair and hands come from the ridiculous amounts of blood and gore she was soaking in while alive, think of it as something that can't be washed away, fits her class

-If Medusa were to be summoned in the Berserker class, which is something she's actually qualified for, she'd be locked into the monstrous form we see in FHA and in Gorgon's NP animation. She'd be feral in this form so communication would be pointless, attacks indiscriminately, all-around a really dangerous servant to have around.

-she's got a liking to dogs (Cerberus reference)

-this is more trivia than a HC but in FHA it's randomly mentioned she reads JJBA. Though for a HC I personally think her favorite part is Steel Ball Run, lots of horsies, she's Slow Dancer's biggest fan.

-Medusa has a scar around her neck as a servant to reference her cause of death, usually hidden by her choker or turtleneck

-She's gone fishing with the guys (archer and lancer) before and to show some habits die hard she took a bite out of a fresh catch which garnered some stares.

-She makes sure to bring Sakura something new every time she comes back from going out on her own. Could be funny ceramics, flowers, a knife(??), anything, she will run out of space in her room soon

To add to that last part, while we know she's taught her some tricks with magic, she's definitely taught Sakura how to wield a knife as a weapon properly. It's to give her more ways to defend herself

hi chan! i was trying to attempt my own graphic and i had a question: on the graphics for vision, @/unforgive, and your aurra promo, how did you do the background? your aurra promo background seems to have a negative effect and for the life of me, i can't figure it out shjkdf so i was hoping you could give a bit of help or tutorial, if that's okay? also, how did you do the circle on your lois header? and do you have any tips on how to color without using a psd? i'm trying to follow your tip of avoiding crunchy psds when making promos. for example, i want my promo to be red based, so how would i make sure that it pops? i hope these are okay questions to ask! thank you so much for all you do :)

hi!! omg truthfully as a whole these questions are a little loaded, so i'll try to answer in as best detail as i can!! answering your first: the negative effect!! i'm assuming you meant this:

while its easy to just simply invert + add b&w to your image, i tend to use to gradient map adjustment instead!! it gives you a LOT more control over the details youre seeing and customisation! the first image you can see the sorta classic inversion, but in the second, with a couple adjustment to the gradient map, the image can look super different and change my result entirely!! also, for comparisons sake, below is the inverted image with a black+white filter vs a gradient map!

the differences are super subtle, and its definitely possible to get the same effect with the back+white filter with a few adjustment layers, i just feel like messing with a gradient map gives a much more solid inverted look + gives you a lot more freedom with customisation with a limited palette. its a matter of preference and you should give both methods a try to see which better suits your editing style, but this is how i personally do it! :] i know i havent explained this in much detail which i apologise for!! but the tool is relatively straight forward and easy to get a hang of. regardless, if you have any questions or need any help, just shoot me another ask and i'll see what i can do!

the circle on my lois header was actually from a bought texture pack that you can find here!! but i'm more than certain there's similar things to find on google; maybe try something like hand drawn circle assets or pngs? hopefully you'll find something useable!! refining the search with the tools also helps!

and as for tips for editing without a pre-made psd, it's just a matter of really getting to know the tools that are at your disposal!! using clipping masks or layer masks are a godsend if you only want to edit certain assets of your image, but it's otherwise just a matter of trial and error i'm afraid! curves, levels, hue/saturation and selective colour adjustments are my absolute best friends, and i personally think that getting yourself familiar with those tools especially is a pretty solid place to start!! thankfully reds are a lil easier to work with in the sense that you dont have to worry as much about losing things like skin tones in your image, so its a pretty good colour to start off with in regards to experimenting with your photoshop skills!!

i'm sure you were hoping for something a little more than this, but hopefully it helps you out a little bit at the very least!! if you have any follow up questions or you need a lil more depth on my sloppy insight, please feel free to reach out!!

👀 Seeing them everywhere

It had been weeks. Twenty-five days if he was exact, and Buck isn’t sure how to act when he sees the back of his ex-boyfriend waiting for his coffee at their usual spot. He had made sure to change his schedule; he’d come for coffee first and then would grab his breakfast sandwich on his way to the station, which in hindsight is way more logical than the opposite route, but Buck had made the change to make sure he didn’t inconvenience the both of them with an awkward conversation. Yet, Tommy is standing by the waiting area, already holding the cinnamon shaker in his left hand and waiting unknowingly for his order. His hair is longer. He's wearing a tight hoodie and jeans that could make Buck's own pair get tighter if- “Careful, dude.” A man nudges Buck from his bubble as he points towards the inside of the shop, silently asking Buck to move out of the door which his shoulders nearly block end-to-end. “S-sorry. Yeah,” Buck stutters and moves out of his way, stepping outside of the shop and leaning against the stucco wall. He leans his head back too and takes a breath, maybe three, or five, and when he thinks he’s ready for whatever may come up - they were both adults after all - Buck turns to make his way in and freezes when he sees Tommy come out of the door on the opposite corner of the street. The breaths he’d taken in are frozen in his lungs and he’s almost sure he can feel himself start floating away. Tommy is gorgeous - not that this was new information - but the way he stands in the thick orange glow of the rising sun, waiting for the pedestrian light to go on had Buck struggling to, quite put frankly, stay alive.
