Audrey and Eros finally had one day off of work. Just one day, and the two had decided to do what any five year-olds in the form of adults would do— video games. Maybe it wasn’t the practical way to spend a day off, but it was a way for the two to relax meanwhile attempting to annihilate each other.
The moment the words leave Eros, laced in a playful tone, a laugh escapes the brunette as his character on the screen moves around hers, pointing its gun in random directions as if he was, indeed, trying to protect her. But the objective of the game was the exact opposite of protecting each other, and the moment his character passes in front of hers, she points, shoots, and bam he’s dead. “— Whoops.” She glances over at Eros, who’s glaring at her, and grins innocently. “Don’t worry. I think I can take care of myself now.”

He had made a silly joke in an attempt to make her laugh, and had succeeded, a soft giggle slipping past her lips, but then she hears those words and her laughter slowly dies down. Blue eyes look up at Rody, yet she quickly ducks her head the moment a pink tint starts to color her cheeks, soft smile spreading over her lips.
"O- Oh— Thank you… That makes two of us…" But it takes a moment for Cory to process her words, and she’s quickly entering her nervous stuttering mode. "I- I mean— Not that I like w- when I smile— B- But when you smile— Y- You have a really nice smile and—” She gives up on trying to speak, cheeks turning a deep shade of red and she hopes her blonde locks hide her face. “— I just completely ruined the moment, didn’t I?”
