View on Arcee and Airachnid’s “relationship”???

from  a  viewers  standpoint ?   i  hate  it  gfjkdlgfj  it’s  really  got  no  depth  and  neither  of  them  have  any  motive  for  one  another  other  than  “ my  name  is  arcee  of  cybertron……u  killed  my  partners .  prepare  to  die ” .   which  isn’t  an  ?  invalid  reason  to  want  to  kill  somebody .  LIKE  I  UNDERSTAND .   airachnid  is  a  reaaaally  awful  person  to  the  point  she  slaughters  entire  planets  for  the  sake  of  making  them  extinct .  she’s  not  good .  but  airachnid  literally  has  no  motive  for  arcee  …  like  there’s  no  REAL  personal  background ,   there’s  no  real  rationale  for  them  to  be  archenemies .  enemies ?   sure .   but  if  arcee  was  going  to  get  a  rival  in  prime ,   she  at  least  deserved  a  good one .  airachnid  is  a  good  villain .   but  she  was  by  no  means  a  good  nemesis  for  arcee  with  the  plot  the  team  gave  them ……

had  the  team  given  them  more  of  a  personal  background ,  i  could  have  digged  it .  if  arcee  and  airachnid  had  more  than  a  random  need  to  try  &  kill  eachother  every  15  episodes ,  it  could  have  been  a  good  enemy  dynamic .  but  none  of  it  makes  sense  gfdjkgdlfjg  airachnid  was  just  thrown  into  the  show  for  the  sake  of  being  arcee’s  ‘ feral  mode ’  trigger .

also  some  of  the  stuff  between  their  dynamic  doesn’t  even  make  sense ??  like  how  does  arcee  know  so  much  about  airachnid  when  the  only  time  they’d  encountered  before  earth  was  during  airachnid’s  time  torturing  her ?  why  is  airachnid’s  retribution  the  only  thing  stood  between  arcee  and  her  personal  vendetta  to  avenge  a  single  bot ??

tl;dr …… it  wasn’t  personal  enough .  it  was  lacking  real  motive ,  real  background ,  deprived  of  any  real  sense  …….  and  it  sucks  in  general .  only  2  female  bots  in  the  show  and  naturally  they’ve  gotta  be  the  ones  that  constantly  despise  each other .  tfp  airachnid  is  quite  literally  one  of  the  most  dangerous  characters  on  the  show ,  and  she’s  got  her  running  around  in  circles  and  pulling  arcee’s  hypothetical  hair  for  no  reason ,  and  both  characters  deserved  a  lot  better ,  especially  regarding  their  dynamic .  but  ofc  their  dynamic  revolves  around  the  fact  that  ALL  the  writing  for  plots  and  characters  are  absolute  garbage ….. tfp  is  entertaining ,  but  very  far  from  well  written

Chantelle’s favorite bot on team prime??? Least favorite (prime-verse)??? The idea of team prime getting involved with the kids and such???

BULKHEAD!!  hands  down ,  he’s  my  favourite  team  prime  bot .   so  much  so  that  i’m  planning  on  adding  him  to  my  multi  when  i  find  the  time !   all  of  team  prime  is  lovable  in  their  own  ways ,  but  i’m  a  total  fool  for  the  big  dumb ,  soft  dad  type  …  it’s  hard  to  pick  a  least  favourite  autobot  in  the  prime  show  (  or at all gfgjfd  )  but  it’s  .  .  .   optimus  gfdjkgldfjkl  I  LOVE  HIM  LOTS  and  he’s  my  dad  (  BOOGIE  WOOGIE  WOOGIE  )   but  ?  his  character  is  so  fuckin  bland  …  he’s  got  no  personality  and  really  he  just  says  something  stoic ,  has  a  fight ,   and  then  that’s  really  …  it .  and  it’s  obviously  on  the  writers  for  that ,  and  i’ve  said  i  hate  the  prime  writers  for  the  exact  reason  of  never  progressing  or  giving  characters  development  or  depth  but  yea  gjfdklgjdf .  i’m  so  thankful  for  optimus  writers  i’m  mutuals  with  that  actually  give  him  depth   and  character <3

i  mean  it  wasn’t  their  fault  they  got  tied  up  workin  with  these  hellchildren ,  but  i  think  it  HAD  to  happen  for  the  sake  of  the  shows  target  audience .  but  outside  of  that ?  ST00PID !  i  love  team  prime ,  and  i  love  jack ,  miko  and  rafael …  but  the  bots  should  know  better  than  to  get  children  involved  with  a  war  they  bought  to  their  home  :gun:  especially  as  we  know  that  really  …  no  decepticon  in  that  show  is  much  above  killing  a  child .

How much can Airachnid drink before getting drunk??? What kind of a drunk is she???

airachnid  drinks  often ,  so  she’s  by  no  means  a  lightweight  of  anykind .  as  a  matter  of  fact ,  she’ll  usually  target  somebody  to  flirt  with  all  night  so  they  buy  her  drinks  until  they  decide  to  leave ,  and  i  imagine  they’re  always  wondering  how  so  much  highgrade  such  a  little  bot  can  handle .  truly  :  it’s  a  lot .

i  actually  imagine  airachnid  as  a  very  giggly ,  flirty  kind  of  drunk .  she  definitely  comes  out  of  her  reserved  shell  &  finds  a  lot  of  stuff  funny ,  but  that  very  much  includes  the  extent  of  her  dark  humour .

SHE’S   THE   DECENCY   TO   FULFIL   HIS   REQUEST  ,   at   least   :   her   arachnid   torso   flourishes   &   folds   to   reveal   a   humanoid   set   of   legs ,   and   the   extra   6   return   to   a   neat   &   orderly   fold   upon   her   back .   TARSAL   CLAWS   EAGER ,   but   visually   well   rested   -   just   as   the   smile   that   rests   on   alloy   lips .

How many times has Airachnid met w/ Megatron during the war??? (Just wondering b/c when she was brought back on da Nemesis, he was like it’s been a while, n later she was like “we talk~” to Starscream)???

i  like  to  think  airachnid  had  a  pretty  high - role  amongst  the  decepticon  cause  whilst  she  was  there .  i  don’t  know  whether  she  would  have  known  megatron  pre - war ,  so  megatron  wouldn’t  have  had  time  to  make  very  personal  connections ,  so  whatever  they  had  was  more  than  likely  work  &  decepticon  based .  though  they’d  definitely  known  each  other  well  enough .  prime  tells  us  that  airachnid  left  the  decepticons  right  after  the  war ,  but  i  don’t  think  she  would  have  been  interested  in  jumping  ship  that  quickly ?  so  it’s  possible  that  airachnid  had  ranked  herself  high  enough  amongst  the  cause  that  she’d  work  beside  him  even  after  the  war .  at  least  for  a  little  while .

airachnid  had  joined  the  decepticons  very  early  into  the  war  :  fateweavers  were  already  an  extremely  rare  build  of  bot ,  and  all  of  which  were  hidden  on  eukaris .  aside  from  airachnid .  whether  megatron  would  have  taken  an  interest  in  her  vague ,  precognitive  abilities  and  prophets ,  i’ve  no  idea .  but  everybody  knows  that  the  skills  of  fatewavers  and  their  mnemosurgery  are  unmatched .  along  with  that ,  she  was  a  torture  expert ,  and  i  expect  megatron  put  easily  two  and  two  together  and  made  her  a  right - hand  mnemosurgeon  and  torturer .  their  interactions  came  mostly  from  her  reports  directly  to  him  (  or ,  if  he  were  totally  busy ,  to  the  next  in  command  ) ,  after  stealing  information  from  autobot  brain  modules .

tdlr: i  think  they’d  meet  often ,  or  as  often  as  a  lord  conducting  a  war  can  meet  gfdkld  though  ofc  they  were  professional  occurrences ,  for  the  most  of  it

What headcanons do you have on the ship Airachnid came to Earth in???

airachnid’s  ship  is  a  custom ,  single - bot  vessel ,  manufactured  during  the  war  originally  as  a  freighter  transporter .  it’s  not  heavily  designed  as  a  combat - oriented  blockade ,  but  rather  a  fast  attack  craft  /  runner ,  better  for  fast  transport ,  but  pretty  low  regarding  it’s  bite .  it’s  equipped  with  a  defensive  shield ,  as  well  as  the  ability  to  cloak  itself  among  the  stars ,  making  it  an  unpredictable  little  craft  to  keep  tabs  on .

the  cruiser  is  a  subcategory  of  iuridae  models ,  given  said  name  by  the  speed  and  efficiency  of  their  work ,  as  well  as  the  little  but  coherent  weaponry  it  possesses .

weapons  on  the  original  model  are  minimal ,  but  provided  with  at  least  two  blaster  cannons  controlled  by  the  pilot’s  main  command  panel  /  pad .  but  airachnid’s  have  been  switched  out  for  a  double  laser  :  also  accompanied  by  a  venomous  cannon  that ,  although  is  limited  in  shots ,  does  a  great  deal  of  damage  by  eating  it’s  way  through  the  metal  of  opposing  ships ,  which  can  be  a  big  big  problem  if  it  hits  &  you’ve  no  ship  recovery  services .

the  " single  -  bot “  label  is  relative .  the  bowels  of  the  ship  stand  at  a  great  40ft  tall  -  this  was  because  the  original  pilots  were  to  be  at  least  30ft  tall  in  height  for  the  sake  of  being  able  to  effectively  load  cargo ,  but  airachnid’s  18ft  is  no  comparison .  though  it  gives  her  the  room  to  properly  spread  her  legs ,  and  she’s  a  tendency  to  sow  secondary  hammock - like  second  floors  to  the  ship  to  rest  or  feast .

it’s  filled  with  basic  stuff .  a  recharge  berth ,  travelling  energon  refinery ,  lots  of  storage  space  and  a  single - person  medical  bank .  along  with  the  organism  display  mantles  she  had  fitted ,  she’d  also  some  for  rare  and  expensive  gems  and  element  fragments  she  found  on  her  travels  -  native  to  the  planet  or  not .  what  more  could  a  gal  ask  for ?
