Deworming for Humans??

I’m interested to find out more about what vets use to deworm themselves? 

We haven’t learnt a lot about this in South Africa and we generally use over the counter drugs such as Vermox (Mebendazole). I’ve been wondering if this is effective for us who are exposed to worms on a daily basis and what other vet students have learnt about deworming in humans.
