He performs solo and with a four piece band. CATAMOUNT Catamount Coyote is the most current creative endeavor of a Central-Pennsylvania native whose work and performances have been circulating the local independent music scene for the better part of a decade. She has offered up hundreds of solo performances, both in well-known and loved spaces close to home, as well as many independent and DIY venues across the country. She has toured nationally, as an independent musician, and as part of the band Murderboats, sharing stages with many of her favorite friends and musicians, including Roofbeams, Gracious Calamity, Faun and a Panflute, Robert Sarazin Blake, Soulmobile Eternal, theillalogicalspoon, Adam Faucett, and many, many more. She has also been a core member and organizer for three separate non-traditional venues, one in a large commercial space, one in a townhouse, and one in the middle of the woods. Tara has hosted more than 150 shows for local and touring musicians from every corner of America (and beyond!). Her belief in personal connection and the DIY ethos is evident in her long-standing role as a facilitator and host for countless shows, as well as in her own artistic output. In this most recent endeavor, Catamount Coyote brings raw, honest material to the table. Known for creating a seemingly sacred and intimate space, she takes an ever-changing form: sometimes visual performance, sometimes musical, sometimes a prolonged and satisfying silence. Tara has for a long time stood out as a creator of moments, situations and reflections with her earthy, stark lyricism and sparse accompaniment at live shows. She released a self-titled EP in August of this year, which includes five new songs, recorded and arranged with the help of Josh Dean (Murderboats Music Recording) and Caleb Cossick (Tree Cover Records).
