The most romantic gesture was the fact that Hannibal rejected the perfection that Anthony was.

Anthony was everything Hannibal wanted. He was the version of Will without empathy. And Hannibal not only killed him but made a HEART of him !!! For Will !!!

Ig what fascinates Hannibal is that Will is still empathetic and still has the desire to kill. Anthony didn't have that at all. Anthony was too similar to Hannibal in that way.

I find it so adorable and also so true that despite who is the most similar to us, it is not always our other half.

and Hannibal chose the guy with the different view. The one who completed his, instead of just matching it.

Similarity isn't completion, and Hannibal understood that.

now if you'll excuse me I'm going to think about the heart made of the rejected perfect man for the rest of the week !!

I actually really enjoyed his appearance in the third season of Hannibal!

I just realized that in addition to having a Hannibal who is a cannibal and a Will who kills, this show has an Anthony Dimmond who is… dim.

Very, very dim.
