Hullo, new phan here (well only see the 25th), wondering about the kiss in AIAOY, just after The Spin. the kiss looks awkward (it's cute really like they don't know what to do and just kiss) is the kiss improvised? or it's just the way Hadley and Sierra portray it, being young and in love and how does it compare to other production? TIA

I think out of all of the R/C kisses in the POTO@RAH show, that one is my favorite! The way Hadley leans his head over to the side and then Sierra initiates the kiss, and then it looks like he wants it to go on forever.... and when they finally separate, she giggles and he smiles so big! 🥺❤️❤️❤️

The kiss wasn’t improvised, from what I’ve seen Raoul and Christine always kiss after the spin, right before Christine’s line “I must go, they’ll wonder where I am!”. I think the reason why Hadley and Sierra’s kiss might have felt awkward was because they had a lot more time to kill, as the music for the Reprise didn’t start until long after Hadley had set Sierra back down from the spin. I don’t think it looked awkward, personally, and I’d say their post-spin kiss is actually my favorite compared to the others I’ve seen. (no one should be surprised 😅)
