[OC] Suit up, its time for some mayhem!!!

Dang, I really haven't posted any art of my own OCs since December. Granted, I haven't been posting much art in general... I'm gonna try and get better about that.

Anyways this is Anthony Mage, more commonly known as the masked villain Albert. Some of my friends are a liiiittle obsessed with him, so you may be seeing more of him in the future. This pose specifically was inspired by a poster I saw in a jewelry store wayyy earlier this year running errands with a friend.

There was a light up ahead--the main room. A man with curly brown hair and a lab coat was hunched over the dashboard, pressing buttons and laughing under his breath. Or at least--Alana was pretty sure it was a man. What with the voice, and he was taller than the Puppeteer was--taller than her mother too. But Alana was also getting to be taller than her mother, so that didn’t mean anything.

“This is so simple! I’ll be rid of them, and I can--” he said.

“Take over the planet,” they both said, Alana rolling her eyes a bit. The man turned around, shocked, and slammed a welding mask over his face before she could get a good look.

“How did you--”

“Yeah, there’s a hatch on the back of your robot--that’s how I got in. Who are you?”

“Who are you?” he retorted, crossing his arms.

“I asked first. Go.”

The man let out a sigh, tilting his head back. “I actually don’t know… the Annihilator!”

“No you’re not,”

The man hesitated. “...huh?”

“You sound like you came out of a heavy metal band with that name, and that doesn’t seem to fit you. Try again, I’m sure you’ll get it!”

“Fine, fine, whatever… I am… the Genius?”

“Aw, no, but closer! Come on! Third time’s the charm!”

“I mean, I can’t even think of anything else… Albert.”

“Albert?”

“I don’t know… yeah, I’ll roll with it. I’m Albert.”

Alana tried to stifle her giggles, but before she knew it she was doubled over in an all-out wheezy laugh. What kind of villain name was Albert, this was hilarious!

When she noticed the ray gun pointed at her, it suddenly wasn’t so funny.

Disillusions is a novel series that centers around a group of outcast teenagers who are granted super powers. Facing off against villains, learning secrets about those they trust most, and still trying to survive their horrific social lives–they must either stand together or let their city fall.

I was bored and wanted to draw some scenes from Disillusions. I asked my friend which one and she said ‘When Alana meets Albert because that would be hilarious.’ So here’s a snippet of Disillusions Chapter 16, comic-ified. (Sorry its not digital, I just do not have the energy to redraw all this with the undo button on my tablet broken).
