I had barely started using these two dope formulas when they were suddenly packed away and swept up with Orpheus and me. Now that I’m all settled in, I’m able to pick up where I left off! And I’m excited to discover / rediscover these products from NYC brand Anthony. When I was working at Kiehl’s, I always considered Anthony a brother brand. Like Kiehl’s, it has a more masculine look and feel. It was born and bred in Downtown New York. And the formulas are powered by botanical extracts with a pharmaceutical air about them. When I got the chance to try these two star products from Anthony, I expected to be all excited about the High Performance Vitamin C Facial Serum — and **probably** be into the Continuous Moisture Eye Cream. Life turned things upside down and I somehow latched onto the eye cream like my life depended on it. There’s something about the super light texture that grips my skin and stays in place. And I love the formula. First, it contains a high level of Sodium Hyaluronate — the salt form of humectant Hyaluronic Acid that’s more skin compatible. There are a slew of non-fragrant plant oils and antioxidant botanical extracts that everyone’s skin loves but mine seemed to soak up — including Shea Butter, Squalane, Jojoba, Arnica Montana Flower Extract, Cucumber Fruit Extract and Carrot Root Extract. It even has my fave irritation soother Bisabolol, the active component of chamomile. I don’t want to say it’s a perfect eye cream, but it’s damn close to perfect for MY eye area. And it saved my eyes from the stress-driven dehydration of the move. Thank you, Anthony, wherever you are!
