red river hog :]
image description: a red clay sculpture of an anthropomorphic hog sitting with its hands on its thighs. It's heavily built, with long delicate ears and whiskers lining its jaw.
(Gods Are Real) JTTN Zhu Bajie (Portrait) (Traditional)
A small portrait of Oswald the boar for Daphne Berry as an addition to an ACEO card :>
As it turned out, my skill in traditional materials has significantly declined lately, and my hands are more shaky - it's good that in digital art, you can turn on brush stabilization so that it's not so noticeable! :"D
retro pig flavors
mspaint comms are open for $65 USD!!

my fascination with red river hogs continues: a new hog basking in some morning light

Xinyu & Zhu Bajie (Gods Are Real)
Zhu Bajie, and his human Xinyu from my comic.
Xinyu is from The Ming Dynasty, he was sold by his parents at a young age as they could not feed another mouth. He was the slave of a wealthy official. One day he glanced in the direction of the man's daughter, she told her father. And the poor boy was thought to be beaten to death by the cruel man, then his presumed lifeless body was tossed into the local river. He washed up on the banks barely alive.
Luckily for him, Bajie found the boy in time joining his soul with the boy's and saving him from dying.
