I love Franco and have been a fan since his time in Williams, but y'all need to realize he just got promoted into the second seat of a team with Flavio Briatore as their acting team principal. The man who was banned from f1 for forcing the second driver of his previous team to crash to facilitate his other driver's victory. Let that sink in.

And if you think that they will not put all the blame on him if he doesn't perform well immediately (which I don't wish but might happen) and give him the same treatment they did Jack, you are being delusional.

I hate how Oscar's loyalty is always questioned by 4s because of the Alpine drama but they refuse to acknowledge why Oscar did what he did. Becoming an Alpine shooter just because you hate Oscar is desperate even for them. This is a team that has the worst commitment issues alongside Redbull when it comes to their junior drivers hell even their current drivers. The way they treated Esteban last year despite him being their most loyal driver should have said enough. Not to mention legal stuff that came out against them and how they streamed Oscar behind the scenes. Comparing this to Lando's 'loyalty' to McLaren is hilarious because Lando literally paid Mclaren for a seat. He's being loyal to his big investment. McLaren quite literally owes him and he's been treated as the golden boy since the very start. Not that hard to be loyal when you're guaranteed everything right?
