Why is it usually the non-canon pairings that I gravitate towards? And why are they often better written, have more chemistry, healthier, and more narratively and emotionally satisfying than the canon pairings which are usually shallow, poorly written, forced, toxic, and carry multiple unfortunate implications/stereotypes?
Remembering that time Bruce and Natasha dated for a couple months and it was physically painful for all of us
I got excited when I saw a Marvel themed category on Pop Culture Jeopardy! because I thought I would sweep it with ease. Good news, I did. Bad news, this was one of the clues.
I will harp on Brutasha until the day they put me in the ground. That is a promise.
please just fucking stop
Not to still be on this like 10 years later, but I’ve just had a realization on why the whole brutasha thing in AOU rubbed me the wrong way. Like not only did it come out of no where, the actors barely had any chemistry, and the writers wanted us to believe that they were super into each other after working together like (that we saw prior) once.
But the part that really gets me is the well established fact that they didn’t trust each other. Like, Bruce makes it abundantly clear that he doesn’t trust Natasha or her profession and Natasha is shown on multiple occasions that she is afraid of him/the hulk/ what he can do. So I guess the idea of them as a compatible couple just doesn’t even register.
Anyway, just shouting into the void over here, so just ignore me
I’m totally not salty about the wasted Romanogers potential/chemistry at all, that be absurd
trying to enjoy age of ultron when this
agitating
grating
voice-!
Any Marvel ships you dislike?
I have a lot, but the one I loathe the most is the unfortunately canon for a while B*uceN*t.
