Also what I find difficult to believe is that Alex just gets back together with Izzie. I mean I kind of get that he wants to be there for his children but that he can forgive Izzie after everything she has done to him is just unbelievable. I can’t think of a good reason why the Alex that we love would ditch Jo after being married to her for what one week? I mean they were a couple for 6 year and we are just gonna pretend that he will leave her for the Ex-wife that he hasn’t seen or heard of in 10 fucking years and that left him like that. Yeah well I just have to say it’s the worst ending in TV-HISTORY!!!

The people comparing Steve’s ending to Alex’s make me so bored with their lack of creativity... Steve abandoned no one (single, gone for a few secs, on the way to a dangerous and selfless mission) and had always missed Peggy, they only separated because of a tragedy that was no one’s fault. Alex dumped his recently-out-of-psych wife (whom he had recently remarried and promissed to be with) for someone that dumped him years ago with hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt, broke his heart, and with the explicit message that kids can only be happy if their parents are married. Eff off.

Just know that Alex and Izzie were, and I do not use this word lightly, toxic. She was a fucking bitch to him and to everyone she was ever in a relationship with. Izzie is a fucking awful even abusive person and Alex would NEVER go back to her especially in this way
