I don't hate Destiel. I don't. As long as it's an unrequited love on Castiel's part. However, every fucking time a post about them appears in my FYP and I read the hashtags with which people are sharing it, I end up feeling sick. C'mon. They change the canon however they fucking like it and everybody agrees with the stupid things they say as if they were facts. Wow. Wow. Sometimes I hate this fandom.

Sadly, no. The Destiehellers will never go away. Ever. Getting rid of them is like trying to get rid of a roach infestation. Little buggers always come back, forever fueled by the whims of their denial-fied world and drive to tell writers/actors that their view of Canon is ‘wrong’ and that the Heller view is ‘right’.You know, leaving the rest of us to sit here rolling our eyes and continuing to ask till the end of time: 

They don’t watch the show because they like the show, they watch it for a ship and ONLY for a ship. It’s sad and pathetic.

I go out of my way to check when someone mentions that the crazies are attempting to ‘trend’ a thing and once again, destiew is not trending.

It’s not visible unless you happen to interact with the term regularly.

It’s not showing up on the top trends of twitter or any of the major services that track these things either.

I don’t see that term on my non-fandom account at all.

There aren’t enough of them to create the kind of activity for that crap to actually trend. And I wouldn’t be surprised to discover that twitter has blacklisted the term due to the way the kids keep trying to game the system. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
