If H*oechlin was throwing Tyler posey under the bus by calling his comments towards s*terek ‘ill informed’ I lost a lot of respect for him. Pandering the fans that bullied posey, including after the death of his mom and have prided themselves on being so horrible that people are afraid to speak out against them is just gross. Not to mention the ship itself. Tyler posey had every reason to dislike it, even if it wasn’t as awful as it was. It wasn’t ‘ill informed’ it was an opinion.

And if you like it that much, why not come back to do the movie hmmm??? Why leave the show at all then???

This is gonna be controversial but I seriously dont give a fuck. What the hell is in sterek and fitgomery shippers heads? These ships are literally p-dophilic IN CANON and one of which ACTUALLY HAPPENED AND THE PEOPLE GOT MARRIED Like bestie what- Explain to me why any of this is ok- IN SHOWS FOR TEENAGERS NONE THE LESS like what the everliving fuck is in these shippers and writers heads? I wont even go into how supposedly each ship gets their own because of the fact they are sorta canon because its disgusting. If you ship either of these ships canonically, please explain to me why because all I can see of them at the moment is disgusting garbage. I myself am a teenager and notice this. The fact these two ships are the main ships in my favorite shows disgusts me and when I get bashed by the fandom for not liking them, I just want to scream because its gross. I dont even understand how pll got fitgomery past the network. It makes no sense. These are my damn favorite shows and I still REALIZE the problems here.

Damn, anon is Big Mad that Derek Hale loves Scott McCall like a brother and never held any grudge against him and the script even saying Derek's expression was one of respect. Derek never expressed anger about it and yet they call themselves angry on his behalf

One of the best relationships in Teen Wolf is that of Scott McCall and Derek Hale.

We saw them work, and work hard, to get from that first gif to the second. It wasn’t easy and the show never made it appear like it was.

Starting off as adversaries they became two people (two men) who could openly show their affection to one another. Not in a romantic way, but simply because they cared about one another.

The fact is that isn’t as common, even today, as some people think. 

We saw Scott risk his life to save Derek. We saw that he was willing to let himself die over the pain and guilt of losing him.

We got this quote 

"You came back for Beacon Hills?"

"No. I came back for you."

We heard Tyler Hoechlin say that one of the biggest disappointments was that a scene between him and Tyler Posey where the character of Scott hears that Derek may die and cries at the thought was cut.

That is how much Derek had come to mean to him.

It was a fleshed-out journey and one fandom would burst at the seams for.

Except they despise the fact that it was Scott and not another character.

 It wasn’t the relationship that fandom wanted to see grow and the fact that Derek cared so much about a character they hate burns them.

I already hear the choir going “Scott never paid for the ways he hurt Derek” While utterly ignoring the way Derek hurt Scott, but I digress.

The truth is Derek and Scott moved past the ways they hurt one another and managed to be two people who deeply cared about one another.

They found their own way to go beyond the hurt and fandom hates it because they wanted Scott to pay.

They wanted him to pay through pain and through the loss of his status. They wanted Derek to take back what they feel Scott stole from him.

They didn’t get that so they spent years tearing apart the relationship.

Taking their moments and removing Scott to replace with Stiles.

They called Derek post-season 2 “pod Derek” because “their” Derek is forever the brooding bad boy who can only be tamed by the love of another white man.

This Derek who no longer cares about power and who doesn’t need to use violence to get people to submit is not what they signed up for.

And if he were to change it had to be Stiles who made him.

Not Scott who about Peter said to Derek 

“Your best ally has always been anger, Derek, but what you lack most is a heart. That's why you've always known that you need Scott more than anyone.”

That wasn’t the story they signed up for, but it’s the story they got.

So they troll inboxes and make posts to say that Scott was really a villain and the bond they had was fraudulent.

But it wasn't.

Not to the show.

Not to the actors

Not to the fans who loved to see their journey.

okay this isn’t me being a bitch about st*rek again. but i genuinely don’t understand shipping them. they’re not friends, they’re barely in any scenes together (a few i would argue exist bc jeff wanted to pander to shippers). in s3a stiles deadass thought derek was the murderer. they are only associated with each other bc of scott. make it make sense beyond them just being two attractive white guys
