AHH: Who's a character you'll NEVER want to write more about?
You know who’s boring, actually? Junpei. Ooh, look at the smart guy, puzzle-master extraordinaire, solving huge mysteries with clues no one else would put together because no one else had protagonist powers. What’s that? The core of his character is love and compassion? Of course it is — and of course we have to turn it into a flaw! Make him so obsessed that he chases after whispers, make him so desperate he’ll put his own and others’ lives in danger with a mere mention. So cliche.
And that’s another thing too — Akane. Why does she have to be the center of everything, huh? She’s not so special just because her very existence is a paradox. There’s no way she’s so impactful that she shapes someone’s personality nine years later. It would be a pain to write about someone whose absence affects the narrative just as much as her presence does, whose decisions cascade into world-changing events.
