15 MAKEUP IDEAS AND HACKS - http://healthandbeautology.org/15-makeup-ideas-and-hacks/
Just some drabbles of my characters Anti-Rain and Anti-Red
“He’s so tiny Mother.”
“Right now he is kitling. But soon enough, he’ll grow up. Maybe he’ll even be as tall as you.”
“Perhaps.” Young Red smiled at his mother, then looked back down at the baby in the crib. The infant looked as any other infant born in the anti-verse did. Pale pink skinned, fur less ears and tail, thin locks of hair on its head, and two tiny little red horns on top of his head.
Red reached down into the crib and placed a hand on the little anti’s head. It merely yawned in reply, making Red giggle a little.
“Mother says that one day you’ll be bigger, maybe even bigger than me,” he said, rubbing his hand gently over the infant’s head, “I don’t see how. But I guess, perhaps you’ll surprise me,” he leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on the babies brow, “Rain.”
“Rain! Rrraaaiiinn!” Red huffed, puffing out his cheeks. Watching over the little kitten was proving to be much more troublesome than he ever could have hoped. Red had assumed that Rain would somehow be able to behave himself, but no. As soon as Red had turned his back, the little kitten had taken off running somewhere. And now, the prince had to find him before his mother found out and he had to suffer her wrath.
“Rain! Where are you?” He called, stepping out into the castle garden, “This is just getting ridiculous.” Again, no reply. Red was really getting annoyed by the kitten’s games. Walking around the garden for a little bit, he came to entrance to the castle’s own cemetery.
Red was about to dismiss the idea and walk away, when he noticed a tiny figure sitting down in the grass. The prince narrowed his eyes, and walked over to it.
“Rain! Of everywhere I would expect to find you this certainly was n-“ Red stopped, when he realized the grave the kitten was sitting in front of. Rain, turned his head to look up at Red, tears falling from his red and black eyes.
“I never got to know them you know.” He said, turning back to look at the grave, “I can hardly remember.”
Red looked down at the little kitten, and all his annoyance immediately left him. Sitting down next to him, he pulled Rain into his lap, and hugged the kitten. The little one responded by leaning his head on the prince’s shoulder.
“Owch.”
“If it hurts then stop touching it, you dope.”
“I can’t help it. It feels so weird.”
Red rolled his eyes, as Rain looked in the mirror, examining the scar on his left eye. He had been doing the same thing for the past 3 hours, ever since the ceremony.
“It’s quite an honor you know,” Red said, fiddling with his friend’s wood pipe, “That scar symbolizes that you work for the royal family.” He gave a cheeky grin to the younger man, “Namely, myself.”
Rain rolled his eyes, and snatched the wood pipe out of Red’s hands. “You know, I don’t actually work for you. I mean, after all, your mother did say that I have the right to disobey your orders if it means keeping you from doing something stupid.” Sitting down on his bed, the younger anti played a few notes on the pipe.
Red smiled, closing his eyes and listening to the sweet melody of his friend’s instrument. “Hey,” Rain stopped playing, long enough to hear what the prince wanted, “Play that one song I like.”
The brunette rolled his eyes. “Red, you like all my songs.” The white haired anti smiled. “I meant that one song I ‘really’ like.” Rain looked confused for a moment, before he realized what his friend meant. “Oh. Red, no. I am not going to play that. It’s so terrible.”
“But Rain,” a cheeky grin returned to the older mans face, “I order you to.”
Rain groaned, but complied with Red’s wishes. He then began to play. The notes to the song were messy, not very neat at all. The high notes were piercing and the low notes wavered. Yet, despite the cringing sound of the song, Red seemed content by it.
“Red?” Said man turned to the door, just as Rain poked his head in. The other had a worried look on his face.
“Rain, please, come in.” The brunette did as told, and stepped into the room, shutting the door behind him, “Is there anything you wanted?”
“I wanted to make sure you were alright Red.” The man sighed, and looked up from his papers, into the eyes of his companion. There truly was honest concern in the red and black orbs.
“I could lie and say I’m fine,” he replied, chuckling a little, “But for some reason. I get the feeling that that won’t convince you.”
Rain frowned at this. Walking forward, he kneeled down in front of Red and rested his head in the other’s lap. Red smiled and placed a hand on his head. “A sweet display of affection my friend,” he said, running his hand through the dark brown hair, “Quite out of character for you.”
“If I remember correctly, I did something similar when my parents died.” The prince’s eyes widened, and he looked down at Rain. The other was looking down so that their eyes could not meet. “Rain.” He said softly.
The younger man slowly lifted his head, so that their eyes did meet. It was in that moment, that red saw something in Rain’s eyes, that he had never seen before. They stared at each other for a few moments, before Rain shook his head and stood up.
“It’s getting late.” He said, and took a step to leave. But, a hand on his shoulder stopped him.
“Please Rain. Stay with me for the night. I couldn’t bare being alone.” Rain considered for a moment, before turning back around.
“Thank you for that beautiful song Rock.”
“Anything for you your highness.”
“What did you think of it Rain?” Red asked, turning to the man sitting on the steps next to him. Naturally, he did not miss the eager look on Rock’s face, the very hope of rain enjoying the song making her excited.
“Eh, I’ve heard better.” Poor Rock’s face was so crest fallen, “But I’ve also heard much worse.” It wasn’t much, but by ways of compliments from Rain, that was as much as someone like rock was about to get. The women curtsied and scurried out of the room, most likely to compose a new song for his highness.
Red smiled. Life was good. Looking over at his companion, a content expression came over his face. Rain noticed, and quirked a brow at him.
“What’s with that look?” He asked.
“Oh nothing,” Red said, his eyes half lidded, “Just thinking about what I’m gonna do to you tonight.”
Rain blushed and turned away instantly. “Quit it.” Red just laughed.
“You know Rain, you’re still pretty tiny.”
“I am not. Now shut up, you’re ruining the mood.”
“But Rain, there’s nothing wrong with it. If anything, it makes you cuter.”
“I’m not cute!”
“To me you are.”
“I swear Red, I am going to make you sleep in the hall.”
“You can’t do that. I’m the King.”
“Do I look like I care?”
“Well I know something you do care about.”
“Nope, I don’t feel like it anymore. You spoiled the mood.”
“Oh, I’m pretty sure I can un spoil it.”
“Oh no. This is your punishment for calling me cute. You’re not getting anything tonight.”
“Aw, but Rain.”
“…. What the hell are young doing?”
“This is my seductive face.”
“Seductive my ass. You look constipated.”
“Now that’s just rude.”
“It’s the truth. Jeez, you're bad at this.”
