yes ik people are saying "just enjoy the story" and tim is not the only character in this series but i just dont like steph and i dont want her to be a part of my fav team??? sorry it's just someone said something in your mentions and im like, i already liked other issues (other than issue 5) and im gonna read this book for other core4 characters and new ones but its not weird that not wanting to see a character you hate that's all, anyway have a nice day
Edit: Ah, found the comment I think you’re talking about. TBH, I think you’ve both got a point? Like, on one hand, I think it’s very reasonable to not want Steph in the comic; but on the other, there’s no point in getting worked up and upset about it until she’s actually there and we see how things go down.
(Those are the ones that really get on my nerves -- like the people insisting that Tim’s character will be RUINED 5EVER!!1! by the new costume change because.....
...because they’ve taken a running leap to the Isle of Conclusions, basically.)
Like, I would rather Steph not join the team, but if she turns back up to add some drama I’d be down for it. Sure, it could be handled badly, or it could be handled really well and address some of the problems that, for example, folks who are more invested with the relationships among the YJ team have with Tim dating a girl who treats his friends with dismissive disdain.
Drama is good, change is good, and some people just don’t like Steph and think her presence would spoil (sorry) the YJ fun, and that’s all perfectly reasonable.
