You're not being misgendered, though. The characters aren't referring to you specifically, they're referring to the female character that you are playing as and making the decisions for.
for one you cannot tell me if im being misgendered or not
we’re supposed to take the persona of the female character we’re playing as. Its a dating sim that we’re supposed to relate to and feel like we are her. But as a transboy who has problems with being referred to with female pronouns, I do not like it. its just like any other dating sim. If it was one of the BL ones or whatever then I could relate to it better because the protag is male.
i understand that its popular and ya’ll like the Thing™ but i do not like the Thing™ and I am sure im not the only person that feels this way specifically about the Thing™
like i just don’t like being constantly misgendered by something that is supposed to be fun it bothers me i have enough insecurities about this kind of stuff i don’t need a phone app adding onto it for some twinky boys that aren’t even My Type™
mystic messenger isn't for boys like you, its for girls who want to have fake boyfriend lmao not everything needs to be about men let us have stuff.
ok but im a boy who is attracted to men so why does there even have to be a gender assigned to the main character? Why can’t it be gender neutral or have the option to change the pronouns? i can see where ur coming from but still its a little bothersome
Accidental Minimalist
I think I've become an unintentional minimalist. I moved to a new apartment last May, yet still have most of my things in boxes. People now joke that it's easy for me to move since half my junk is already packed up!
I found that to be a sign.
We carry around too much. Things we think we need to hold onto when in actuality, they're just an anchor causing us to drown. Old papers, pictures, books from school, clothes we hope to fit into once again, it's all unnecessary. I'm currently going through a massive purge to get rid the non-essentials. Looking at old paperwork, seeing what needs to be scanned and/or shredded. Few things need to be kept once they're uploaded to Dropbox (or as an alternative, Evernote)and sent into the cloud. It's an incredibly freeing and liberating experience.
I can't wait to move forward with even less.
