How to save money when you earn less?
Its been 6 years since I am earning ,and like any other youngster I used to live paycheck to paycheck.I realised the importance of savings when I took a career break and had no other choice than asking for help from my parents.
Savings,the earlier the better.
I understand what we earn is very less and we can not expect to save everything that we make.
I started by saving Rs 500/moth.Its not a difficult to save this amount. You can start a RD account online and can withdraw your funds without any penalty whenever you want.
Stop eating out as much as possible. It will make you and your pocket healthier.I remember the days when I was in habit of buying a cappuccino from CCD everyday.Thank fully I realised that a nice coffee can be made at house as well. Also analyse the worth of a food before buying it,for e.g. the same samosa can be bought at an average of Rs 10 outside and at Rs 50 at a PVR Make a wise choice.
Let the idea of shopping be as interesting and appealing as it was when we were kinds. The Kids of 90s will be able to relate.we use to shop occasionally may be for a festival or a function.I don’t want to loose that charm by shopping everyday.
Save for a purpose. There is no pleasure like doing something for your loved ones.Save for their dreams ,your dreams.Aim to buy your house or take that international trip or buy your dream car.
You should not forget to take care of yourself in the process.Keep a small share for yourself .Remember the best you can do for your self is maintaining a good physical and mental health. You can practice meditation like I do.You can have a look at one of my favourite videos and get inspired by one of my favourites fitness icon ”Shilpa Shetty Kundra: link
Remember best things in the world cant be bought.So Spend beautiful evenings worth people you love,read a book,make a painting,sing a song,play a music,dance and love.Stay Happy!
