MI-AK-: Fill in the Blanks
As pleasant it was virtually the entire city reveling in a holiday without a surprise sprung somewhere along the way, the commotion of it all was bound to get to her. A quiet place before dinner with the others at the house, but where, when such a vast majority was in a rush to finish up last minute shopping?
The first place that came to mind was Mu, and not too far from home - she could slip out with the excuse of needing to fetch something, or confess to heading off for a walk to get some air.
An operation which would prove successful given how chaotic all around had become in the bustle to make this Thanksgiving the best yet.
With a sigh of relief once the background murmur had diminished to silence, the outer district had proved itself a safe place to escape. Somewhere to indulge in peace before the inevitable return to the madness.
Strangely enough... this time she hadn’t been alone in the strategy - another had manifested a short distance ahead.
Curious by the figure, one whom she couldn’t recognize, she wandered towards them, arms coiled about her waist and let out another, much lighter exhale.
“Hey, didn’t expect anyone else to be out here.
