This show is so comforting, even if it is for kids- I think boom eggman could benefit greatly from a Stone.

Stone runs some kind of coffee shop before meeting eggman. Honestly i think it’s Egg who falls first, seeing this only other human in a coffee shop and maybe watching him chew someone out for ordering a frappe

The timeline is lesbian levels of fast for these two. Stone is on Eggman’s team in a week, he’s moved in after a few months as Eggman’s body guard/assistant/personal barista. It probably takes them a while to get to the actual romance, since they’re both really dumb lmao

Stone has previous agent training, and a little bit of an adrenaline junkie streak. He finds constant danger very fun

Stone’s sweet with the robots, as always. Cubot loves him because he doesn’t treat him like trash, but Orbot is probably very suspicious of him. He comes around eventually

Tails and him are good friends, almost a mentor/mentee situation since stone knows a lot about engineering

Sticks hates him. Of course. (i love sticks)

Knuckles and Stone one sided rivalry!!! Stone never calls him by his name or correct species, it’s always “rat” or “squirrel” or “porcupine”

consider this…Stone wearing heeled boots / shoes in the next movie as part of his villain attire, making it so when he reunites with Ivo (which will definetly happen), he’s at eye level with him. Or taller. The smallest shift of power.

Lighting practice ?? Idk just messing around. There is not enough noise for the S1 flight suit. or even the S2 post-mushroom flight suit (where you can see his forearms 👀). But there is absolutely espeically not enough noise for specifically robotnik in the very last scene against sonic in S1 where his hair is messed up from getting beat up by Tom, and hes drenched in red light from all around, and the goggles are on (very important).

More flight suit!!! I like it a lot!!

Stobtober week 2 - Rainy Day

I have a very strong head canon that Stone is scared of thunder. It just makes sense to me, because of his Agent training, that he would be sensitive to loud noises. Maybe he’s not scared exactly, but it puts him so on guard and alert that he can’t focus on anything else. Robotnik obviously doesn’t know what to do about that, so he tries to have Stone do something Stone always like doing…making Robotnik feel better. So they watch tv on the crab couch that doesn’t exist and Stone is …… well ….. like a stone. I can imagine the Crab isn’t very sound proofed- it’s like being inside a trash can. Or maybe it is, and all they can feel are the vibrations.

(Am i projecting cause im not a fan of thunder ??? yeah, i am! who’s gonna stop me?!!!??)

IF robotnik comes back and IF he gets to reunite with Stone, I kind of want there to be an echo to the “You’re no Maria,” line, with Stone seeing him again for the first time. He comes up close to him, puts a hand on his shoulder (or on his face), and says “Oh, Ivo,” , and for a moment both the audience and Robotnik think this is going to be another rejection, or a moment of Stone showing his true colors before Stone pulls him into a hug and just says, “I love you,” or more likely, “I missed you so much.”

okay, I’m sure someone’s pointed this out before, but let’s take a moment to look at the little decorations in the mean bean

it’s easiest to see on this frame, but

he has a little goat 😭😭😭😭😭 and a little planter 😭😭😭😭

he probably chose things that were traditionally like coffee shop decor, but the goat???? that’s adorable. He did that on purpose.

(also, out of universe, god bless the set decorator, you knew what you were doing)

I can’t help but think about how horrible Agent Stone’s situation must have been from the crab and on. First he has to fear for his doctor’s life, bringing him back from nearly nothing, giving up any semblance of normal life to stay with him. Then he has to watch that man, who he loves so much, slip farther and farther away from him as the post-fall depression takes hold. Then, after all that, when finally things start looking up, he loses him for the final time.

How purposeless he must feel. How hopelessly lost. No doctor, no outside life, nothing to define him other than his grief. He was abandoned.

That’s why, if he is the one to find the metal sonic blueprints (rather than making him from scratch) I think it would give him enough drive to at least attempt to carry on his doctor’s legacy. Even if Robotnik isn’t there, his ideas still are, they still carry on, and he can make his last dream come to life.

Their last creation. The last thing they will ever do together, as a team.

what am i thinking about??? oh, nothing. just Stone wearing Robotnik’s control gloves and they bunch oddly around his fingers and are loose at the wrist. No just him constantly having to readjust the gloves because they weren’t made for his hands.
