every time an e/riel take comes up on my fyp because the op failed to tag shit properly I can't help but sit there and wonder if I published my current original concept, and also included a red herring romance with the MMC, would they fall for that, too? would they fall for surface level behavior and not give it any more depth in analysis? if the romantic rival was kind, not yet fully developed, and easy to project onto instead of the rapidly-developing fmc, would they cling onto her?

putting a pin in this in case I can come back in two-three years to evaluate how they actually process narratives outside of acotar

Elriels are really showing their true, shitty colors. A sector of the fandom that literally bullies, harasses and sends death threats to not only people who have a different view point, but harasses SJM and her family. On top of that they try to play the victim, the “oh woe is me..”

I genuinely can’t wait for Gwynriel’s or Elucien’s book next

So elriels are mad at us because SJM decided to show us the toxicity and the negativity that elriel harbors versus how genuinely positive it is between gwynriel…okay.

Everyday I become more convinced that elriels are like 12 year olds. They most certainly act like it 😒

Also the Lucien that they’ve made up in their mind is simply incorrect…he’s not the bad guy they want him to be and that makes them crash out.
