6. What bad writing made you want to punch through your screen?WHICH TIME. WHICH MOTHERFARTING TIME. The last straw for me was the S5 finale. Didn’t deal with anything they’d done in S5 or wrap it up in any satisfactory way, made me realize watching the show wasn’t bringing me joy anymore, so I peaced the fuck out. I kept pretty heavy track of the show until the mid-season 6, when they had the Wish Realm nonsense where Regina murdered Wish Snowing to get to Emma for some god forsaken reason? After that I completely said “fuck canon” and stopped keeping track of anything except for seeing occasional stuff on my dash or keeping up distantly with what CS was doing (even though they were doing everything WRONG and it made me kinda angry from a distance, but quitting the show was REALLY good for my mental health, lemme say.)
12. Which character deserved more development?
They hinted so much about his “dark past” and teased so much about his backstory coming to light and like the literary history of Robin Hood as a character is so rich and dark and meaty, it would’ve lent itself SO WELL to a proper OUAT-ization, but they never really gave him the chance to shine. They really fucked him with a cactus with no apologies.
16. Worst casting decision?Oh shit, I never really developed any strong feelings about casting. Uhh.... how about NOT casting a young Emma sooner so that the audience could understand that it was a 17 year old Emma who had to give birth to a baby she’d conceived with a fully grown adult man and not 30 year old Jmo with glasses? Oh, I suppose I got kinda bored of the guy who played Hades. He never seemed to be able to find his big villain moment (which is probably because the storyline they ended up giving him with Zelena was absolute garbage.)
34. Worst acting?Ha, that dumbass hope/belief speech Henry gave at the end of S5. I was not inspired, I just laughed and said “haha yeah quitting this show will be good for me” and by golly it was.
