I have never encountered a relationship i hate more the rumbelle from ouat. This old ass man kidnapped a young woman, enslaved her, then stockholmed her ass into a toxic relationship for like 6+ seasons. If you ship them whatever. But the show promoting this relationship and later having her break up with him and having her shove his ass out of town (an amazing scene shadowed by the fact they caved to fan service and brought the ship back) is irresponsible and pains me to this day.

2. Which storyline do you pretend never happened?Lol basically everything after S4. If we’re getting more specific: the Baby Plot, Emma turning Killian into a Dark One, Robin dying, every piece of shit they pulled with Camelot, the fact that Snowing named their kid Neal, everything they did with CS after S4........... yeah so like..... everything after s4. 

3. Which twist melted your brain?The first one that made me salty was Belle being the one to save Killian at the end of 4A instead of Emma. It was a dumb twist that was completely unearned and duper dissatisfying. That was just the first of MANY dumb twists.

7. Does magic actually come with a price? Why or why not?*distant screaming* I tried to rationalize OUAT magic for literal YEARS without being able to come to much of a satisfying conclusion. My best guess for how it works was in some ask meta that you bet I’m gonna go dig through my tags to find..... FOUND IT. Essentially magic=emotion. Emotions feed into magic. Bad emotions=dark magic. Good emotion=light magic. But long story short, I think the writers said fuck magical systems and did whatever the hell they wanted.

Do you think there are some pairings in tv shows that only have remained a constant in a show because the ship is popular amongst the fandom but not because the writers genuinely are invested in the characters or pairing? I must admit, I have thought about this in regards to Captain Swan. And I wonder if the same is happening with Bughead.

i’ve never had that thought in regards to those ships. maybe only in terms of rumbelle, which was supposed to be contained in a singular episode but was so popular they brought it back and then it was a terrible rollercoaster (a reminder that i did not at all like this ship lmao) and sometimes it really glaringly seemed like the writers did not know what to do with them

ouat has closed the story on that and cs so i don’t think there’s much point in dwelling on that, but in terms of bughead i don’t get that impression. i’ve talked about how the writers were trying to get us to root more for bughead, rather than the opposite, they just did in a terrible way, so i’ll just link you: [x]

So, Belle will be back for one episode to give us update on her life. Hopefully, we'll learn how she finally get some sense and left Gold.

Ugh, don't even bring up the rumbelle stuff, after everything he did like 5 seconds ago. Belle is just like whatever, you tried to be good so now I'll forget every awful thing you have done since season 4 and let's get back together and go to granny's where everyone who you have betrayed multiple times is having dinner, yeah also the grandson that you don't ever want to help. 🙄 I also hate how everyone is like yeah sit when he betrayed them like 5 minutes ago🙄

OMG, those pictures of Belle that Fiona showed... and that whole scene... ridiculous

so it was ridiculous and goofy but honestly it just made me think about how rumple is attracted to women who are drawn to adventure because they are ambitious and want to see the world and then he tries to drown it out of them whilst feeling like it’s the greatest evil to choose their own goals and desires over his smothering, controlling behavior

The fact that people can still reblog the anti ru*belle post I made after the s4 finale after the s6 finale and what I wrote still makes sense in canon context says a lot about that relationship
