31 [They/Them], Translator, philologist, majored in English, minored in Literature, but do not expect a post without typos. Something something about writing properly I do not follow in the slightest. I lurk as a form of coping and probably have far too many headcanons to work with. Canon? Never heard of it, we in this house ship yearning as goddesses intended. Partially opened to prompts.
Thought I should put down like a quick post with what I've written and posted since July. Since I've recently been told that I write "a lot" (and I do not think that's true but in case someone wants to check what I've been up to--- xd)

In the summer of 2024, my children and I drove to Spain to explore the Ebro Delta. It was July–August, yet this place felt surprisingly peaceful.Riumar is nothing like the typical Spanish coast. You leave the highway, drive another 40–50 minutes through endless rice fields, and suddenly reach a shoreline of white sand dunes stretching toward the Mediterranean. This is one of Europe’s most important stopover points for migratory birds. Pink flamingos gather in the lagoons, and birdwatchers often outnumber ordinary tourists. Most travelers never come here—they are looking for busy beaches, nightlife, and large resorts. But locals, nature lovers, and ornithologists know just how special this landscape is.What fascinated me most was the sand. It didn’t feel static. It flowed like water, shimmered in the sunlight, and seemed to change color every moment. I wanted to capture that softness and movement, so I used delicate pastel tones, pearlescent pigments, and flowing brushstrokes to make the dunes feel almost alive. You may notice a small figure of my son in the painting. My children occasionally appear in my stories on social media, and they are a huge part of my life, so sometimes they naturally find their way into my paintings as well. They are not portraits or the main subject—just small figures within the landscape, quietly reminding us of our own place in nature and inviting the viewer to step into the scene.

Early season 1 Regina kisses with coquettish smiles but darker intentions; with the facade of someone who knows power and exudes it. She does it harshly and expecting Emma to exhale first -a way for her to know she has won a game while waiting for Emma to react but never to answer to. Her mouth opens in performance, lipstick dark and leaving a trace she likes to gaze onto when they finally part enough for her to look at it, possessive thumb smearing the mark a little bit more than necessary.
It relies on the performative of the act as it is expected of her; of the image she has built and the ones she has wrapped around herself. She moves closer to Emma but relies on her hands grasping the blonde's hair to keep the woman on a sort of controlled distance. There's a fumble at the very beginning, maybe, due to height as used as she is on kissing Graham but she plays it off.
A re-write on something I did way back when:
To the many times I stopped them just as they kissed -or I killed them, or made them long for each other without reprieve (because I love them, I really do, despite all the evidence pointing to me adoring the make them suffer)
The ficus and the pirate are not important for this.
She kisses with eyes that pretend to close but remain half-lidded: she loses herself at the very end, enjoying Emma's response but still looking at it as a form of winning an asset, as part of a script. She wants to make Emma leave Storybrooke and also, maybe, prove to herself the inadequacy of Emma in other, different aspects.
It's very much rooted on sensation, on grasping and owning.
Early season 1 Emma kisses with anger and mistrust. She does it with the rage of one that knows the other aims to toy with her only to wish to prove to her that she will not. It's very much bailbondsperson Emma the one that kisses, with puckered lips and teeth that bite onto skin. It is preformative in the way hands around necks were canonically, with brows that lower in anger but also desire and with her own hands quickly moving Regina's away from her hair and push for breasts and ass to grope and push against.
It relies on her own confidence of being able to win if things turn ugly, on desire based on need. She finds herself moaning for a moment, wantonly and finds her own senses to betray her the moment she feels Regina's own breathing faltering a second after that. She kisses quickly, only to duck her head and attack throat, pulse-point, behind the ears.
Late season 1 is still as messy but more guarded on both sides: there's not only the thrill and anger and perhaps that want of showing to themselves and the other that they are the ones calling the shots on whatever is happening between them, Yet, too many lies are already circling them: with a Henry that has already done and seen too much and the feeling that whatever is happening is about to break. Regina kisses with shadows of the Evil Queen still, with some of that meta narrative on sensuality and eroticism she so quickly used but somewhat stranger as she is channeling herself from a time that is not really the same woman she does now. She kisses pressed against Emma fully now, as if trying to block the other woman's body and movements with her own. Emma answers just as deeply, with tongue and labored breathing but wanting for the other woman to react beyond murmurs of where each hand needs to go to and how she needs to move as if Emma did not pay attention to her.
Early season 2 Regina kisses more defiantly: her magic is back to her but is stranger and it feels fickle and weak and brittle and the truth is out so there's less shadow for her to hid under but a little more space for herself to be and become. She tastes electricity when kissing Emma but there's the betrayal when she comes back and Daniel is gone and there's something that for the first time that is more difficult to parse. She kisses with less intent of getting her way under the same vein of what she did before but enjoys leaving marks just as much as she did: a short of power play that keeps Emma cleaning the lipstick away.
Early season 2 Regina is desperate for Henry and her position in his life. She will try to get Emma to see her way, will move Emma's hands, position them so they can find zippers and buttons at the pace she wants and feels comfortable with. She will kiss while naked but muscles will be stiff.
Slightly middle season 2 Regina will not kiss at all but sneer and nurse doubt and self-loathing. Slightly middle season 2 Regina will move and block her eyes and face from Emma while kissing and nipping skin, liking how easily the paler woman bruises.
Late season 2 Regina will kiss more honestly for the first time but it's still a far too difficult thing to do to make it long enough for her to fully get what is she doing, how is she falling. If just them at the mines she may have kissed Emma after the trigger did not take effect and it was full of the crackling energy of the remnants of a spell about to disappear back on their veins, back when Emma's own power was not fully rooted yet but is still strong enough for hers to react to. She kisses with salt on her lips from tears that has fallen and a slight hiccup that elicits a surprised chuckle from Emma. Regina moves away from her after that, pondering a question she does not have the answer to.
Early season 2 Emma kisses with more intent and knowledge, with the need to trust the woman she has in front of her and maybe with some sheepishness atop it all: less needing to control the narrative and re-center herself by proving her own ability and more about the information she is being forced to come to terms with. She kisses as a way of moving her own psyche away from mothers that are as old as she is and a kid she loves but is not entirely sure how to be a mom off. She kisses wishing to trust but not being able to do it yet and with her own shame about maybe kissing someone she should not but is not complaining about. She kisses with puffed lips and darkened eyes and some of her magic sparkling through it, leaving behind scattered sparks.
Mid season 2 Emma kisses angrily and still finding herself wanting something more. Mid season 2 Emma kisses liking where the touches go and where her mouth is but not necessarily who she is at the moment; who is she supposed to be. Mid season 2 Emma grabs just as much as early season 1 Regina did but is with less a possessive streak and more a need for understanding what her own body -full of a power she is not knowledgeable off- is telling her. The lack of recognition of that freezes her but not as much, or not quite, when allowing herself to move closer to Regina. So she does.
Late season 2 Emma begins to understand herself in a slightly better way. Late season 2 Emma feels like she may be able to control what's happening, who she is, what she needs (hah!). There are trust issues, there are no stepping stones for what she is currently feeling for Regina nor any description beyond lust but there she is maybe toying with the concept of allowing for marks to be done and left in slightly more obvious places as a way to remind herself that beyond the craziness that her life is becoming there are still things to knows how to react to. Late season 2 Emma kisses loosing herself a little, with flushed cheeks but still playacting their original tension, the one they still have. She answers just as fiercely to Regina's kisses and bits down a small smile she feels far too self-conscious about a second later.
Season 3 Regina is cagey and bite-y in a thousand different ways than she was before. She kisses wishing to lose herself. Her kisses and actions have stopped from being part of the performance that reacts to the superiority having others do her bidding out of sheer lust to the stolen moments with Emma becoming the moments she allows for some of the tension and nerves to escape from her body. The comfort it brings is worrisome though and she feels doubtful about them, angrily vowing not to kiss the blonde again only to fail a little. Early season 3 Regina is conflicted and kisses just as she feels: with open-mouthed kisses that turn cold a moment afterwards, with power brimming beneath fingertips and the need to kill and maim written all over her face the moment Emma interrupts the moment to share her own ideas to everything they are going through.
Early season 3 Regina starts to change her tune the first time she teaches Emma how to use magic to light up a fire. There's the early power play of them when pushing each other; Emma's angry eyes and magic still on its infancy that Regina enjoys but is feeling more and more at home about. Early season 3 Regina goes back and forth about it, partnering herself with Rumple, completely against the idea of helping anyone else of halting for anything that is not Henry. She kisses with half-the-intent to make Emma to see it her way, surprising herself when she dreams about scenes and moments that are not romantic yet but rings and rings ever closer.
Mid season 3 Regina does not kiss Emma but she wishes she had. She imagines the kiss and, for the first time, there's a loss there, an echo of something else. Mid season 3 Regina is finally aware and is terrified by it. She would kiss with open hands and flushed palms; a slightly more romantic take on the kiss, with some of the flair a folklore villain whose fate was written at the same time a curse was is able to muster. She kisses with the idea of a woman that is very much real, though, and she imagines the kiss as the smoke envelops them all.
Late season 3 Regina kisses guardedly once more, with time she knows it passed and the fragility of what the time itself entails. She kisses with a power that is more attuned to the change between realms; with power colored just in the right shade of purple and gone from the brittleness of before. Late season 3 Regina kisses strongly but slightly detached; as if wanting to make herself believe that she has things under control (she is wrong) and she did not miss the time spent with Emma as much as she did. Late season 3 Regina has had an entire year of conversations on destiny and fairy dust and despite the actual memories of them are sort of hazy at the beginning, the weight of them has resurfaced. Earlier versions had the beauty of time between the forest and Storybrooke to create a more obvious line between the differences of culture and upbringing. The lines are blurrier now and Regina kisses accordingly. She wants, she does. She is not privy of the language for it.
Late season 3 Regina reacts to the frustration Zelena brings with her, her own feelings about her mother resurfacing once more, the difficulty on what she did bring back with her as all the pieces that were missing fall back into place. Late season 3 Regina kisses with arched neck and longer hair Emma loves to play with only to break things off just as quickly. She uses the same perfume she did on earlier seasons but the magic has changed some of her previous scent and the change in power teases Emma's nose as Regina pecks her lips.
(and when did they become so accustomed to kissing that pecks are normal now?)
Early season 3 Emma kisses with preoccupied hands that do not wander as much and with an intent for something else she is does not have the words for. She feels caged and unable to to fulfill the looming image of the Hero her parents wish her to become. She hears words she does not like while Regina becomes a familiar sound. One she feels all sorts of things for: from frustration to anger to lust to need. She kisses quickly and with the taste of sand and magic that feels much more mercurial than the ones she knew off before.
Early season 3 Emma is afraid and responds in turn; feeling the precipice of what both of them seem about to stumble onto only for it to disappear with every decision they make. Early season 3 Emma moves the moon and wants a kiss but does not dare to move and do as much in front of Rumple and so the moment passes amidst darkness and decisions that begin the shackling descent onto becoming the Hero, the Savior, and not the Lost Girl.
Early season 3 Emma kisses with eyes that close tightly so she can escape (in)to the sensations Regina brings.
Mid season 3 Emma does not kiss Regina but wishes to. Mid season 3 Emma is sheepinsh in a way season 2 did but with the sadness of the thought that she will no longer get to kiss the other woman ever again. Mid season 3 Emma dreams of a woman and wakes up gasping, lustful and slick and sad and gasping.
Late season 3 Emma kisses fiercely as memories have been back for a time. She kisses with hands pressing on Regina's shoulders, door closing just at the nick of time with the weight of their own bodies. She kisses less guarded but halts mid-kiss, suddenly aware of how much she missed and what it all means. Late season 3 Emma growls when she feels her hands moving just as they did before, a year ago, a year and a half, before Neverland. It's an instinctual reaction, one she does not know where it comes from. It's her time to fumble the height factor, she quickly forgets that awkwardness as she exhales Regina's name only to cover it with a moan.
Late season 3 Emma is more secure on her place as Henry's mother and she does not see Regina as a threat for it: she is older now. She dreams for a life that is less convoluted than the one she still sees unraveling in front of her. She kisses with the sadness of not knowing what she wants and the fear of not knowing how to ask for Regina to come and visit, and what it all means for not only Henry but herself. She kisses with elation but doubt and her kisses turn cold if they elongate too much.
(Late season 3 Emma's body moves when Regina pecks her lips, eyes closed, breathing halting, magic sparking. Emma pretends it does not happen by hugging herself. She is not negating the feeling but the readiness of her body for it. She licks her lips after the fact, tastes some of the residual lipstick there, imagines what she wants and where she wants said lipstick and shudders.)
Early season 4 Regina kisses angrily yet again. Not necessarily due to one single reason but more on the difficulty in parsing what she is feeling and what she wants. She feels very open and dejected by it, with lips that bite and long to possess and darker lipstick that reminisces slightly to an earlier persona. Early season 4 Regina is pulchritudinous, with a sense of self that is reliant on something else but is beginning to crack and there's some of that on the colder tones on some of her clothes and the need, however, for an out. Early season 4 Regina is all about nails on the back of Emma's neck and back -when able- and the predisposition of the other woman to take what feels like a punishment of some sorts.
Early season 4 Regina kisses with magic that changes color and recognizes what it means and is thrilled as much as she is worried by it. Early season 4 Regina imagines what she would do with the leather jacket Emma is beginning to lose somewhat due to her parents meddling. Early season 4 Regina thinks on cold and hands that wrap themselves around hers and the colors that they create is enough to make her purse her lips and move away from the kiss (again)
Mid season 4 Regina is thrown against the memories of what she once had -as Maleficient is here and I fully believe that these two had something- and, for the first time in forever (8) she is pushed against the rails of the differences between her feelings for Emma and her feelings about someone else. Mid season 4 Regina kisses with the thrill of feeling desired and at the cusp of something stirring inside of her, with a sharper edge and less clean lines around her movements, with darker undertones and a headier magic signature. Mid season 4 Regina kisses slowly, deliberate. She begins to masseuse Emma's muscles there, just a little, just a tease.
Mid season 4 Regina's dam is breaking and there's some of that slipping through when alone with Emma, when knowing it's not only about kisses any longer -not necessarily- and it's the comfort in that with the more centered version of herself what makes Emma fumble, what makes her wish for more. Mid season 4 Regina is reminded that the threads their lives created run deeper than what they may expect and that, alone, breaks through all with a clarity that slips through her voice when Emma leaves for a road-trip -and she accompanies her-
Late season 4 Regina is taken aback by the power the archetypes they all were created by still moves her own actions forward. Late season 4 Regina sees Henry as the teen talks to her about happy endings and supposed threads that ought to happen in order to sign the ending of some evil plan and she hears about all of that and the Heroes and Villains moniker and she kisses fearfully. Fearful of what she has managed to have, worried of what she will lose. Late season 4 Regina feels her magic beneath her skin, far too awake for Emma's touch and the shape of worded desires that turn complicated and difficult and yes far too clear the moment the tendrils surround her and she hears Emma's scream. The agony that comes after, the shame and the worry and the realization in the shape of a dagger and a name that should not be there to begin with robbing her of any more of those.
She kisses the memories though, the ones she now fears that will not come to pass again. Because on this version there's a refraction period, however minute, for the dust to settle a little bit longer than it canonically did.
Late season 4 Regina kisses with the shape of several words already embossed together but not really there. Words like 'home', like 'trust'.
Like 'love', maybe. Not yet, not yet.
Early season 4 Emma kisses asking for forgiveness and with some naivety filtering through her actions. Early season 4 Emma speaks about friendship with something and someone that feels strongly even the most levity of topics. Even if the both of them know their relationship is everything but that. Early season 4 Emma is afraid of herself and worried and tired and fed up and there's a shade of that on her kisses. Ones that are stolen and are electric and they just patter against open lips and ready throat.
Early season 4 Emma touches ice that leaves her skin cold cold cold and she then proceeds to hide her hands on Regina's sides and there's a jump and a startle and maybe some laughter coiling itself around them. But it's not enough. Not really. And early season 4 Emma is bright eyed but guarded, full of need for Regina but fear on the realization that each step of her life was indeed a step onto the direction of her becoming what she is transforming into. Early season 4 Emma may kiss sometimes in a more reckless manner, a way of showing to herself that she still has that to prove she has not completely lost herself.
Mid season 4 Emma kisses jealously. She sees Regina, sees what the woman is still capable of being and there's a freedom there that wets her lips and makes her narrow her eyes. She likes the supposed freedom that comes from the morally ambiguous: she knows and feels that she was that, once upon a time. Under the different logistics and trials the world she grew up in allowed her to be. Mid season 4 Emma wants to point out she was a thief, once, that she stole and was bad, and Regina is not the only one that is bad and mid season 4 Emma kisses quickly only for her hands to wander and for her brain to halt and she wants and wants and wishes for something and her heart grows a little bit heavier.
Mid season 4 Emma may mistake this change of pace and think it's the fear what makes it weight more. She is wrong. Of course.
Mid season 4 Emma has crackling energy and the magic is like ozone and thunder about to fall and Regina is there and she wants to envelop her. She kisses with force but allowing the space she knows Regina needs.
Late season 4 Emma does not necessarily kiss that much. She wants to, she dreams on it. There's ink that spills and overflows on what happened to all of them with the author's book. She got the short end of the stick: with memories and two lives half-lived and the knowledge that something is not right on the flow of time they are supposed to be in. She does not have enough magical knowledge for this but she wishes and needs and worries and Regina's name is a torch that keeps her somewhat sane. Henry's too. But different. Quite a telling difference.
Late season 4 Emma hears everything the world that's not hers and will never be has to say about fate and logic and magic and power and she decides that is all far too stupid. Late season 4 Emma sees her parents and the version of themselves that must be their worst nightmares but are just a badly misinterpreted trope and she wishes for Regina to shine through it all. Late season 4 Emma kisses with some of that folklore flair around her, if only so the language she feels the world she is in is made off translates correctly what she wants out of it. Her body feels heavy when she kisses now, a sense of finality that feeds onto her decision when the vortex arrives, a sharp call of what she is willing to do.
Late season 4 Emma kisses but does not act. She does it (again) mentally without truly moving forward as there's no time for it. Late season 4 Emma sees her body get dissolved and destroyed and for her mind to be taken as the vortex dissects her to the point in where very little but her name remains. Late season 4 Emma does it for the town but not really and she knows she knows she knows.
Early season 5 Regina holds a dagger that is capable of changing the mind of the one she cares about and she looks at it with worry and the promise she will not use it. She looks at Emma's eyes and nods and there's people surrounding them and there's Camelot and magic, a type of magic she understands but is feeling disconnected from her for the first time.
Early season 5 Regina dreams of kisses but, most importantly, with the idea of creating a safe path back home. Early season 5 Regina uses a name that is not hers and even if she knows a previous part of her would feel deviously proud and delighted of using Snow's daughter to utilize a title that is not hers if only for the disgust that would have created to those Heroes before, she feels the emptiness of the title -hers and hers- loudly. Early season 5 Regina steals a kiss on a ball, when no one is looking and it would be easier to pretend they are ok but the dagger burns.
Early season 5 Regina kisses with the worry of making Emma think she believes her be made of glass -she is not, she is not- but there's hesitation in the way she works to not activate a dagger that -eventually- does at some, certain points. Regina sees Emma lose herself, the doubts that run through her head, sees the way the blonde reins back in against them and feels her heart swell. Early season 5 Regina would kiss Emma until their lips ache. She fights against corded wrists and hungrily demands for more showmanship of power.
(It does work. Somewhat)
(Slightly later, early portion of the season 5 is all about anger. Regina kisses with anger and worry. Mostly worried fueled by the idea, shameful, that she did not get to save Emma. She kisses with the revelation of the idea and the mirroring of tasting magic that is dark and oozing and yet familiar dripping down her throat. She drinks on it but steels herself, its the ground she feeds herself off; the decisions made what fuels her own hands as they play with the leather and fight against the whiteness of hair that should not be that shade.
And she halts her kisses when the truth about the dreamcatchers come out and she looks and stares and Emma's eyes are still recognizable and the strangeness of them does not push her away and oh, when did she fall in love?)
Mid season 5 Regina thinks back on what she deserves and what she does not and she kisses with the pendulum swining back between what she knows is at her reach and what she fears it is not. Mid season 5 Regina kisses after seeing Daniel's tomb and feeling liberated by the possibility of a future shaped by everything -the good and the bad- Mid season 5 Regina kisses tenderly but still as deep, with hands that sneak on Emma's face and grab and hold and move. She wants more, gorging herself on it.
Late season 5 Regina thinks briefly on what would her life be in a place outside magic and the fragile concept of life. She kisses with less assuredness, perhaps, but without the touch magic provided her. She misses the fire and the spark but likes to mold herself against Emma. Late season 5 Regina sees Henry moving forward as another eptieht rings and echoes through all the realms. For the first time, the usage of a title does not feel like a curse -but hers, hers hers. She watches and kisses and her hands find Emma for the first time with a sense of purpose that creates its own spark. Not magical, not at all, but with enough Belief for it to work on its own.
And how could she be other than herself.
Early season 5 Emma kisses with something to prove and quite the little time to do so. She kisses the hilt of the dagger before handing it over; eyes and thoughts darkened and tormented with enough tilt on her voice for it to be considered worriesome by her own standards. Early season 5 Emma kisses the back of hands when no one is looking and it feels weighted in a different way than it did before.
She melts when kissed but doubts when separated. Early season 5 Emma's lips are frosty but are quick to grow warm when pushed against Regina's; heart thumping.
Early season 5 Emma makes a promise and then a different one and her mind is addled and her thoughts confused and she hears the voice of one that is not there yet she walks forward.
(And oh gods, when did she fall in love)
Slightly later, still early season 5 Emma kisses understanding what the Queen tasted like as she sucks on Regina's tongue. Is a messy kiss, a messy way of moving things forward. Early season 5 Emma knows that she did an action, made a decision, based on a feeling. One she now wrestles with. Emma kisses and uses magic and it's a too strong experience for her mind to gloss over.
Mid season 5 Emma goes back on wanting more out of the hand she has been dealt with. She kisses with less of a bite, unsure where her own self starts and ends and she moves in an almost reverent way when Regina stares and nods. Mid season 5 Emma glances around and feels the tightened space she is in and wants an out. Her kisses reflect it, time and time again and there's bubbles gurggling about inside of her of confessions made to a bunch of tombs.
(She feels they get the gist)
Mid season 5 Emma allows for kisses that feel final on a conversation she herself hasn't gotten the memo off yet. Mid season 5 Emma melts onto the kiss and says something stupidly clever inside of her but does not share it until slightly later. Mid season 5 Emma plays with Regina's clothes when kissing, not nudging for a quickie but for the connection of feeling the fabric move against her fingertips. She feels Regina relax against her when she does it.
Late season 5 Emma kisses wanting to offer the world if given half a second for it; with the remnant of her powers as the Dark One to fuel through her decision and Henry's figure to work as guarantee, she kisses with the will of a family she is chosing for herself. Late season 5 Emma feels her tongue twist on itself, the need of making Regina decide for herself and being sure she does as freely as she herself be halting when her decision is asked. Late season 5 Emma kisses deliberatedly but her front teeth still nick Regina's lip, slightly. The pain is quick to die but the impact it leaves behind is not as quick.
And they move on.
Early season 6 Regina feels that some of her actions are not necessarily her own. She kisses but some of her actions are bare of a reaction she knows should be there. Early season 6 Regina feels the edges of her clothes a little too tightly, a little too much and she feels the way her anger pushes forward in a more dormant way. Her kisses are languid and true but she moves forward by unthreading each action and movement, ech echoing voice. She hears an echo within herself and she kisses accordingly, leaving a space for another that is not there to fill in on the role.
Early season 6 Regina watches as she understands that a part of her and the entirery of her are as equal as everything else they had ever taught her about one's Ego. She sees the way the other looks and declares and wants and kisses with something to prove and a certain type of fire fueling her forward. Early season 6 Regina touches the surface of mirrors and growls at her other self but wonders how much would Emma see her like this, naked, perhaps, alone and away from the monster of the week, the worry that the town brings. She kisses with eyes open and hands full of want and she almost plays with Emma's jeans only for her mind to remind her where they are.
Mid season 6 Regina acquiesces to what she cannot battle against. She kisses with a small mouth but speeches already prepared and she does not need any speech, not really, but both of her minds feel more at ease she works through her line and word. Mid season 6 Regina sees the pages that were, the pages that are, and is moves over the changes done to the initial version of herself. One that is no longer there. She kisses her own cheek goodbye and Emma's nose and there's something that, at the back of Emma's eyes the moment she moves away, that makes her heart leap.
Late season 6 Regina sees Emma move forward as the sword falls over the asphalt. Late season 6 Regina kisses the one she fears to have lost and makes a different speech than the one she has already been thinking about. She kisses the back of hands as she grabs onto them and whispers words that are about the future through bloodied lips. She grasps onto the jacket's lapels and melts.
Early season 6 Emma kisses afraid. Afraid not to the woman in front of her but what her own dreams shape up like. Of what they mean. Early season 6 Emma kisses and waits and sees Regina's eyes on her when all that there is is mirrors and bashfulness has never been her middle name but she feels the weight of words she still is working through position themselves, at the ready.
Early season 6 Emma kisses with hands threading through hair and wondering what is like to play with a much more elaborate updo if only for a second. Early season 6 Emma grumbles softly as she accepts the truth of what the image means to her.
Mid season 6 Emma kisses with memories that are not hers and somewhat that makes it better. Mid season 6 Emma kisses softly then and -for the first time- with an audience. She does it with hands pressed against embroidery and jewels as memories flood over -not because of the kiss, but because Regina's decision to allow their son to kill her- and she hears the gasp and the disgust and the whisper for magic and hexes and it's her turn to make the kiss salty as she sighs and moves away.
When they return they do not mention any of it -nor Emma's dress, how she hummed and sang when frolicking through the woods- but when Emma kisses Regina again she feels her own hands slipping, circling neck, allowing for her body to go flush against the other's and there's a telling shudder there.

She hears murmurs and comments and she kisses again and again and again. She chooses the kiss and leaves fate to those that care for it.
Late season 6 Emma moans when, back alone again, Regina kisses the palms of her hands, her tattoo, the inner part of her elbow with a hungry mouth and a relieved whisper. Late season 6 Emma returns the favor and cries words she would not have gotten to share had she not kissed back an angry mayor, once upon a time.
