I did not ever wonder. And now I don't need to.
I. . .I'm not sure how to feel.

Today I worked on: Indonesian Shadow Puppets.

Oh dear God. Childhood terror right there.
A museum just 6 houses from my home had these displayed in the most badass but terrifying way ever - the room was completely dark and you had to turn on the light. The puppets were on one side of the room with light behind them.
Meaning once you turned on the lights, their GIANT SHADOWS would pop up right in front of you with no warning.
There was nothing else in the room. Just you, the puppets and the shadow demons haunting you.
That is totally bamf. They have complete approval from me. Two thumbs up mystery museum.
On another note - here's a clip of a Wayang Kulit practioner and orchestra doing their thing.
