Content creators and appreciators alike are invited to partake in a month-long celebration of Mo Dao Zu Shi in its many forms. For the entire month of October you are welcome to use the above list of prompts to create the MDZS-related content of your choice! Reblogging this post is greatly appreciated, as this will spread the event to more people, meaning more content for everyone! Rules and a written list of the 31 prompts can be found under the read more.
Rules;
You are welcome to participate in as many or as few of the days as you like. Late entries are okay, so If you miss a day but still wish to post your creation for that day, go for it! Just make sure you’ve included the day # somewhere in your post so that I may tag it appropriately.
Although the prompts are fall-themed, creations need not be fall-themed. So long as a connection can be made, it’s fair game.
While this event is titled “Untamed Fall Fest,” any content deriving from any of MDZS’s adaptations is welcome. Content can take the form of a gif, art, video, mp3, fanfiction or other text, edit, meme, or anything else you can think of!
You are free to create NSFW content for the fest, I simply will not be reblogging it to the fyuntamed tumblr as I would like to keep it SFW. I also reserve the right to not reblog any creations I deem offensive, inappropriate, etc.
Do not repost other’s work, regardless of credit given, as the point of this event is for everyone to make their own creations! Additionally, if your creation involves content not directly from the drama, donghua, or manhua, please source it!
Tag your creations as #untamed fall fest within the first 5 tags so that others and myself can easily find it. If you would like to send your posts directly to me, that is also fine.
Have fun!! Any remaining questions may be directed to my ask box!

If you liked my original post about the possibility of a fall fest, I’ve tagged you below:
I finally watched Into the Spider-Verse and I got...
the leap of faith scene? I CRY EVERY SINGLE TIME.
COMPREHENSIVE LIST OF TIMES I WAS MOVED TO (ALMOST OR ACTUAL) TEARS:
the scene where Peter Parker’s death is announced. when it showed everyone stopping to look at their phones?? and the voiceover narration?? and Miles + all the kids buying the costumes, and MJ’s eulogy? I was crying CONTINUOUSLY while thinking about public mourning and hope and what it would mean in that universe to have this rallying point/hope figure and then lose him, and the monumental shift in culture that occurred in OUR universe when Spider Man/comic books in general were created and the pre- during and post-WWII political landscape that they were born in
Gwen’s “I couldn’t save my best friend” line. my god the WHIPLASH on that!!!!
oof. the scene where all the multiverse characters are fighting Miles and trying to see if he’s tough enough and my own sudden realization that he’s not, that this scene is genuinely going to end with him giving up (and Peter B. realizing that too and trying to intervene)
the scene where Miles’ dad comes to his room. I’m uh. actually tearing up right now thinking about it? which is very much influenced by the fact that I’m still in mourning for my grandmother + seeing my dad in mourning, but fuuuuuuuck, his dad trying not to cry when he first approaches the door. and that whole conversation, and knowing why Miles isn’t responding and seeing it from both of their perspectives and yeah I’m literally full-blown crying while typing right now holy shit.
the leap of faith scene. it was just. so beautifully animated, and the soundtrack was INCREDIBLE, IMPECCABLE, ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS, and then his comic book joining the pile???
there were many other moments I felt strongly about (some “poor baby” some happy), but literally, I full blown cried three times while watching and teared up twice and that is a LOT for one movie less than two hours. it was amazing.
antiquecompass replied to your post “Ray Person or Vera Keller your choice.”
Like I think you may have already talked about this, but you should totally write Vera as a Navy Nurse or in the WAVES.
“One of the first questions that civilian friends, relatives, and others ask a woman in an Army, Navy, or Marine uniform is ‘What made you join up?’...If [the question is being asked by] a handsome Marine with big blue eyes, the right answer is ‘Because I always did admire and worship a uniform.’ Then, just as he steps forward expectantly, ‘How do I look in it?’“ - Angel of the Navy: A Story of a WAVE, by Joan Angel (1943)

Title: The Holy Vow of a Teenage Kiss
Author: rivlee/ @antiquecompass
Artist: @charlesanthonybruno
Pairing: Andy Haldane/Eddie Jones; Background Pairings: Lena Riggi/John Basilone; Nate Fick/Mike Wynn
Rating: T
Warnings: There is discussion of the offscreen death of Andy’s Uncle Robert, who died of cancer. Cancer sucks, losing your loved ones to it sucks, and if this is something that upsets you, you may want to skip the story. While it’s not a major focus of the fic, it is a fact spoken of throughout.
Word Count: 37,554
Summary: When his Aunt Mae suffers an injury, Andy Haldane takes a leave from work and goes to the small town of Fawn Park, PA to help her run her business and recuperate. It’s his first time spending any significant amount of time in the small town since he was fifteen. Some things in Fawn Park, like his massive crush on Eddie Jones, remain exactly the same.

because Shifty is SO NICE and his family must be SO NICE and they’re from Virginia and he has to be polite??
“do I have to call your mother ma’am?” “no” “because I’m not good at calling people ma’am, I’m gonna forget” “you don’t have to call her ma’am!”
“what do I wear? should I wear a tie?” “what? no, sweetheart, why would you wear a tie?” “because you people are all about Sunday best and whatnot, right, doesn’t Sunday best include ties?” “my family lives on a mountain”
they enter the house and Liebgott is about to frigging pass out, and Shifty is really confused because seriously? his “idgaf, I’m cool, I do what I want” boyfriend is seriously this nervous? okay
Mrs. Shifty’s Mom warmly tells him that she heard Jews don’t eat bacon, so she went to the library and asked the reference librarian what Jews eat, and she found out they eat brisket! and she makes an excellent brisket, so they’re having brisket for dinner!
VeraA: She loves classic novels authored by women. Jane Austen, the Bronte sisters, that kind of thing. She and Leckie have very different tastes, on the surface, but sometimes they swap books and they generally find enough to have a spirited conversation about them.B: Honestly, I know the odds of her and Stella every meeting are very slim, but they would get on like a house on fire. I like to imagine Stella shows up one day and just knocks on the door when Leckie is at work, and she and Vera have coffee and cake and gossip. Leckie comes home, sees the two of them, and freezes in the doorway. They burst into laughter and the only thing he can think is oh fuck.C: mmm. I don’t really come up with heartbreaking headcanons unless there’s some canon basis, and she doesn’t really appear enough to inspire them? except when I think about the conversation/sort-of-breakdown that would occur when she and Leckie finally had to really wrestle with the fact that he has PTSD and that even him loving her, and her loving him, and them being generally very happy together, won’t solve that.D: It’s not substantiated by canon but GOD I love the idea of Vera also being in the service because PARALLELS. I love the idea of her being in the Navy Nurse Corps or the WAVES, because I think she would tease him a lot about the Marines relying on the Navy, and also she’s a lieutenant because the idea of her outranking him, given his usual attitude towards officers, would amuse them both.
