19th & 20th century Hoyt’s Cologne bottles. These are just some pieces in my collection. The one on the left I found at an antique store in New Orleans. Hoyt’s Cologne was a men’s toilet water developed by the apothecary Eli Waite Hoyt in 1868. It was extremely popular and known for their secret fragrance with contained bergamot, neroli, lavender and other clean citrus scents. It was originally marketed as Hoyt’s German Cologne before WWI. It is used in hoodoo practice to bring luck and success, draw live and money and dress mojo hands. #hoytscologne #hoodoo #conjure #witchcraft #occult #oddities #esoterica #antiquehoytscologne #antiquehoodoo #magichistory https://www.instagram.com/p/COBohannjmL/?igshid=1qsaesmx0ierm
