When I see posts fangirling over RoP because they love their racist elves or Galadriel has severe ptsd (or psychosis, more like it) which they think is such deep writing for her at this particular point in time in Middle-earth... I really wonder what's wrong with the world.
When did it come to this? Are you still there, objective intelectualists?
Ok, but I’m at loss for words now LOL
Call it what you will but I’m sure it isn’t anything strange at large and I’m just a honest one to share
If there are some great well-written characters on TV you might usually get THAT feeling like maybe you would want to bang them and oh boy, I have a weakness for strong, nasty female characters...
But I just realized...
I wouldn’t want to bang Morfydd Clark’s Galadriel from RoP, not in a million years. Her character is just so insufferable and unstably cold as a person that I would actually run away and sex would be the last thing I would be thinking about
You just know a TV show fails when this is the effect their main ethereal character is having on a viewer
