either there are a lot of people who don’t know shit about fandom hearing about fandom antis by their doublespeak creed (‘we’re against incest/pedophilia/abuse’ when they don’t use those words the same way as anybody else) going to bat for antis when they see pro-shipper posts
or there is a hell of a case of revisionist history going on because fandom antis are desperate to escape their reputation for harassment, suicide baiting, and cyberbullying
but either way, im feeling extremely gaslighted by the increasingly popular trend of responding to posts that call out fandom anti behavior with ‘lmao, I can’t believe you’re calling people ‘antis’,’ or ‘stop calling people who are anti-[x] ‘antis’,’ as if calling antis the name they chose for themselves is an insult or a laughable attempt to defame them
